It’s a really nice hotel, with a great view. The area is definitely a bit sketchy though and you should taxi to and from.

The location of the pool, restaurant and bar are outstanding with lots of space and great views of the Acropolis. Staff were all very helpful going so far as to walk outside and make sure I was going in the right direction! Beds were comfortable, AC was great; WiFi was great; bathroom was clean and spacious. No view but we liked room 664!

We stayed at The Stanley in Athens and appreciated its convenient location—just a short walk to the metro, which made it easy to get around the city. One of the highlights was the rooftop pool and restaurant, which offered an amazing view of the Acropolis—especially beautiful at night. Breakfast was included and featured a generous buffet with plenty of options. Our room was quite small and unfortunately had a view of a wall, which was a bit disappointing. However, it was clean and had everything we needed for a short stay. Overall, The Stanley is a solid option if you’re looking for a clean, centrally located hotel with great rooftop views and easy access to public transportation.

Great hotel centrally located with amazing view of Acropolis. Breakfast buffet was wonderful and our suite was fantastic. Staff were very nice and this was a great value!

I can’t beleive expedia promotos this hotel as one of the best hotels in Athens. Area was unsafe and full of homeless people. Room was smaller than a tent and bathroom door needs to be open in order to go into shower. Hotel staff was also very rude and treat the guest as they are there for free food. Terrible experience and will check other options next time instead of expedia!

The hotel and restaurant was excellent. Close to market Restaurant was delicious and mike and cleoprata made our stay so enjoyable. Our grandchildren were looking forward to,swimming at the pool but was always to crowded. The view from the restaurant was the,acropolis. Spectacular

Rooftop pool bar and dining was amazing. Front desk staff assisted us in transportation from the cruise and to the airport. They also arrange for a private day tour. Absolved this place!

It's in a very unsafe area. Was told by many local people not to walk after dark it is not safe. It's unfortunate the area is so sketchy . The roof top makes the hotel. Received a standard room ( when I paid for deluxe) and it was dirty and on a lower floor with dirty hallways etc . Nothing like the pictures . I was going to just leave , however they upgraded me to a suite for the it's then put me in a deluxe room the following nights . Not sure I would stay there again due to the area. If you are on lower floor your breakfast is not on the roof top it's inside on floor 1.

Only thing that wasn’t working right was the a/c unit, until the last day we were there it was cooling off. They sent the maintenance guy 3 times but it was the same . Also the pool was freezing cold even though it was vey hot no one was fully going inside because it was freezing
