A nice little properties, but it is far from the airport ( I was under the impression that it is only a few minutes from the airport, but actually it was 20min cab ride) Also it is in the middle of nowhere, so you can't go anywhere without a car, not an good location to visit Athens, even though I intend to stay close to the airport for convienence, it is not a good choice after all.

Perfect stay not too far from the airport. Although our time was short I loved the peace and quiet. We were greeted by a hand written note that they had left a few beers in the fridge, the perfect touch after a long day of travel! Our ride from the airport and back the next morning was reliable and on time. Will definitely stay again if we are in the area.

very convenient to the airport. It is a quiet country inn, although planes did fly over. Very lovely place. I would stay there again. Highly advise booking your taxi via the B&B since it is a bit off the beaten track, but they picked me up without incident and brought me to the airport for my flight home.

Perfect!

My husband and I stayed here one night after arriving late into ATH. The room was immaculate and comfortable, and the grounds are beautiful. We took a long walk around the area in the morning before enjoying the complimentary breakfast. The resident cats and dog were the cherry on top. This is the perfect place to spend a night before or after your flight!

Great Alternative to a boring hotel

Veraba country house is a little gem of a property provided you don't mind being away from shops etc and a bit of aircraft noise .It is set among olive farms out of town about 15 Mins drive to Athens airport. We had a couple of days there to rest up before the flight back to Australia. Breakfast and dinner are provided and you can order in food from a restaurant in town if needed in between.

It’s a small cosy place, just beside the airport. I like the place, make me feel at home with owner’s dog n cats. But it’s far from town n no other buildings n house around.

This was the cutest and best place. We loved that it was more out in the country. It was clean, inviting and quiet. The staff was so helpful. A Greek home cooked dinner was prepared for us and was delicious.The breakfast was inviting as well.

This is a unique and lovely property. It is not your typical hotel with the front desk and so on. But it still has wonderful amenities. Pick up and drop off at the airport, an absolutely fabulous home-cooked dinner and a very wonderful breakfast. Great ambience, nice people, sweet dog and cats. In reading the reviews before I booked it, I realized if there were negative comments, it's because people simply hadn't read the description of what kind of a place it is. I loved it!

Very quaint small B&B like property in the countryside. We chose it because of its proximity to the airport, because we had a very early flight the next morning. Limited staff but very friendly and helpful. Provided access to dedicated taxi service, but it was not complimentary. Provided nice family style dinner for a reasonable price. Planes were noticeable at night, so bring ear plugs if that would bother you. We left before breakfast the next morning so cannot comment on that. Overall a very relaxing stay. Would stay here again.

Everything about our stay was exceptional. From the ground transportation to and from the airport to our greeting from Nikolia. The country in was very quaint with the rural agricultural setting and the very old church across the street. We highly recommend Varaba Country Inn.
