This hotel is a short drive to the Athen's airport yet in the middle of the country. You are surrounded by olive fields, grapes, and across the road from a 12th century church. But the real value is in the staff. We were greeted by someone who showed us to our amazing room. We asked for a supper meal because we thought it would be eaiest. And they delivered. Traditional Greek cuisine. Breakfast was provided and, again, it was excellent.

Beautiful little hotel a short ride from the airport. We were a party of 11 and had 6 rooms, all unique, all spacious by Euro standards. Pristine condition, exceptionally clean. We had dinner there upon arrival and it was not only an excellent value, but excellent food as well. Staff is friendly with perfect English. Beautiful 12th century chapel across the street. I never leave this positive a review, but this place is exceptional.

The house is situated in the middle of breathtaking nature views and history. Beautiful, cozy, clean, and well maintained house. It’s clear that the host take good care of the house and its guests. Excellent communication and super friendly staff that went out of the way to accommodate us. They offered a shuttle from the airport and a delicious dinner that was served beautifully. Our stay in Athens couldn’t be better. We are supper grateful

located in the middle of the olive tree farm？but 10mins drive to the airport. Room is OK but the strong paint smell of the in- room stairs made my friend heavy headache. Breakfast was disappointed，one cold boiled egg and some cereal，I wish they can supply some ham or bacon.

The property is pleasant looking, but completely isolated. No in-person welcome, the restaurant shut at 8, and the room was freezing cold. We had to sleep in our coats. If you need an overnight stay, stay close to the airport!

What a perfect ending to our time in Greece. We chose this property based on its proximity to the airport, but it honestly ended up being one of our favorite things we did on our trip. A charming setting in the country, an adorable ancient church right outside the front door and a delicious meal shared with the other folks staying on the property that night. Our room was just beautiful, the highest quality of amenities and it felt like a luxury property. The staff was efficient and friendl. We will definitely be including a stay at Varaba Country House on our next visit to Greece!

Cozy Country Home

We were greeted by the owner and given a great room. We had some snacks and wine served prior to dinner. It was a perfect end to our cruise. We met another couple as we both were on our honeymoons. It was so nice.

A marvelous place to stay

Our state the Verba country house was amazing! This is a hidden gem. I would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone. It is a wonderful place to stay. The owner is wonderful, and the room was very clean and comfortable. It was modern and up-to-date. A wonderful place to stay! And so close to the airport!

It is really a country house. No shops in walking distance. No bedside rugs on concrete floor. No bathroom mat. The place was quiet. The taxi was on time for the airport. Close to the airport. Attentive and friendly staff.

Mostly good except another guest was outside on his phone till 3am next to my room. The handheld shower did not work in my shower and there was smoking in my room previously so the smell lingered
