Filthy condo

The location and complex was great, however the condo itself was not clean! The dishes were disgusting and we could not use the pots and pans even after washing them! We had to eat out for every meal. There were stains on the comforters and you could tell they had not been washed. The toilet seat was broken and there was dirt and grime in the tub. We also saw roaches. The check in process was terrible. We had to go to one place to get the keys and the office at the complex to get the rest of our stuff (parking passes and wrist bands) and we had to go to both places to drop things off at check out which was a pain. I will stay at the complex again but in a different condo. The complex itself was clean and in a great location with lots of stuff for the kids to do!

Look no further! This unit on the beach is perfection!

This condo was incredible and the property had everything we needed!! Beautiful views of the ocean and pool!! The master bed was so comfy and we slept so well!!! We will definitely be back! Thank you!!

Great Family Resort

We have been staying at APATB for over 15 years now. I’d love to own, but I can’t afford it, so we make it our summer and sometimes off-season destination. The resort is wonderful and the beach access is better than those in Florida.

The complex is older but clean and maintained. Staff was courteous and helpful. Our condo did need some updating but that didn’t keep us from having a wonderful trip and enjoying the area.

great vacation!

The location of this Condo is great, we stayed at A Place at the beach multiple times but it was a first being on the second floor. The view is very nice. The condo was clean and well equipped.

Perfect location - poor cleanliness

We love APATB and have stayed in numerous condos on site. This one had the best view overlooking the pool/slide but also the ocean. However, the cleanliness was sub poor for this location. There was hair, stains, and dirt all over the top mattress in the main room and I had to remove the top cover b/c I wasn’t sleeping on it. I also went and bought our own pillow covers and king blanket b/c I refused to use the comforter on the bed. The couch cover was also filthy and full of sand. The furniture in the living room was very old and full of stains. I would not recommend this condo unless there were major updates done (for the cost to stay there). I read the reviews before booking and contemplated b/c I know some post reviews that aren’t accurate but I should have heeded the warnings. Otherwise, the realty service and the grounds were awesome as usual.

Great location

Condo had a great location with amazing views. Only steps away from pool and beach. Beach was never crowded and pool and slide were fun although the pool was too crowded during COVID 19. The entire property has a lot to offer for kids including playground, Minigolf, basketball, etc. The condo was nice and roomy but is in desperate need of a deep cleaning. We had the cleaning crew come back to clean again but they are clearly only focused on superficial cleaning and the kitchen and bathroom areas. The mattress topper in the master bedroom is absolutely horrible. Aside from that, we really enjoyed our stay.

Room 278

Location is great! There is plenty of room in condo but beds were horrible. They had homemade matress tops that I could not sleep on. Would definite get rid of those. Also housekeeping did not clean very well. Smelled very clean when we arrived but found the table cover covered in food and sand and the couch cover covered in sand. There was no hand soap in bathrooms . Never stayed someplace that did not have that . Location and resort is wonderful however. Once I did some cleaning and bought soap for bathrooms and kitchen we were fine.

Nice but could use some TLC

The condo was in a great location, super easy to access the pool and you could see the beach. Some things I felt could have been improved with the cleanliness. The utensil drawer had food all in it, so I had to wash everything before we ate off it. The slip cover to the couch was nasty, I removed it because I refused to sit on it. The balcony needs new carpet as it seems to have mold on it. The mattress in the master was Ok, very soft which was nice but it felt as if I was Laying on my head since the head of the bed dipped down.

Almost Perfect

This would have been the perfect stay except it hadn't been cleaned in some time. This was disappointing because it just needed some surface cleaning. The toilets had a bunch of cloudy sediment in the bottom of them and dried urine droplets on the seat. There was hair all over the sink in the master bathroom, two dead roaches on the floor, and sand all over the living room and kitchen floors. I chalk that up to poor property management. We didn't report it because it was just faster to spend 15 or 20 minutes cleaning up than to have to leave and wait for cleaning people come in during our stay. The furnishings and all were up to date and nice. It wasn't cluttered or overfilled with furniture. The kitchen had a decent amount of space to move around in. The pool and water slide were really nice and clean also. Location being on the beach was an added bonus. The view from this room was beautiful! Everything else was nice enough, I would probably book here again if I was assured it would be properly cleaned. It is frustrating to pay a "Service Fee" when the place isn't properly serviced.
