Duneside is a stunning oceanfront retreat located in Pine Knoll Shores, offering the perfect blend of comfort and space. This spacious 7-bedroom, 4.5-bathroom home is ideal for large families or groups seeking a relaxing getaway with breathtaking views and easy beach access just steps away.
Designed with both functionality and style in mind, Duneside features stainless steel appliances, ample counter space, and a well-equipped kitchen that makes preparing meals a breeze. Multiple decks on both sides of the home provide the perfect setting to enjoy sunrises over the ocean and peaceful evenings with the sound of the waves.
Two of the bedrooms offer king beds with private ensuite bathrooms, providing added comfort and privacy—one conveniently located on the second floor and the other on the third. The remaining bedrooms are thoughtfully arranged to accommodate guests of all ages.
Duneside is also pet-friendly, making it easy to bring your furry companions along for the trip. A portion of the yard is fully fenced, offering a safe and secure space for pets or children to play.
Located just a short 3-minute drive from the local aquarium and nearby attractions, this home provides both seclusion and convenience. Whether you're lounging on the deck, enjoying the beach just outside your door, or exploring the surrounding area, Duneside is the perfect coastal escape for making lasting memories.

WHAT IS PROVIDED:
Spectrum Rental Properties will provide sheets and bath towels. Beach towels and equipment is not provided. If you would like information on beach equipment rentals, we are more than happy to provide you with a list. Properties will be provided with a starter kit in each full bathroom and kitchen. Each kitchen starter kit will contain a small bottle of dish soap, two dishwasher pods, sponge, and two fragrance free laundry pods. The kitchen will also have one extra trash bag
Each bathroom starter kit will contain a travel size shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, makeup wipe, and body bar.
Spectrum Rental Properties is unfortunately not able to provide additional boxes/bags. This is a starter kit; anything additional will be guests responsibility to provide.

PET POLICY:
Dogs are allowed with a $200 + tax nonrefundable pet fee per dog, with a 3 dog maximum.
Airbnb guests: This fee should be included in your final price. Please notify Spectrum Properties once your booking has been confirmed to make sure the pet fee(s) have been added.
VRBO guests: Guests can only add one dog to the reservation. If you are planning to bring more than one dog, please notify Spectrum Properties to add the additional pet fee(s).
Failure to let us know about your pet(s) could result in a $700 fine.

Family Christmas

My whole family lives in Swansboro/Hubert area and we wanted to stay out from underfoot. Plus it’s our first Christmas without my mom so we each needed some space. House was great and I enjoyed having our dog with us! Walks on beach, morning coffee on deck, sunset wine on the deck! The heat went out overnight and service guy was there within 1.5 hours from our call. We will definitely consider staying here again!

Great location but won’t stay there again

House was dirty upon arrival. Dog feces on living room rug, wet area downstairs that we suspected was dog urine, lots of dust and hair under furniture. Washing machine full of wet bath mats and towels that sat for a few days and smelled terrible (we discovered them and had to rewash and dry them). Ice maker didn’t work, beds all very uncomfortable. House very outdated and not enough seating in living room. Upstairs master bedroom very warm and we were told not to turn AC below 70. Needs ceiling fans in bedrooms. Walkway to beach needs to have overgrown vines trimmed back. Location and view are great but we will definitely not stay here again.

Duneside was Perfect!

Our family gathering at Duneside was perfect. We enjoyed our own beach access throughout the day and the opportunity to relax on the back deck in the evening.

The house needs MAJOR updating! The bathrooms, windows and doors were all old, moldy and run down. The furniture had stains and ground in dirt. The cleaning staff is horrible! The house was not clean, particularly the showers. When the house cleaner came back over to clean then, she admitted that she doesn't like to clean them because they are too difficult to rise. One bed still had dirty sheets, we ended up buying our own sheets to use. I dont think the air vents had ever been cleaned, the amount of dirt and dust was gross. The location was good, the private beach was great. However, i wouldn't stay here again.

Great location but windows need replacing

Great location overall and on a very quiet street. Note, most of the main windows facing the beach had completely blown seals and almost no visibility. Heavy dust on all fan blades and under furniture. The third floor bedroom hvac is not sufficient. Since my stay was in November and the weather was cool, I was able to open the French doors. I would imagine a summer stay or on any hot weather days the room would not be comfortable. My group was only 4 adults and 1 child so we did not use the 2 main floor entry level bedrooms. I would caution anyone renting that these bedrooms are very dark and have no ocean views. The actual property/ land is amazing. The house could use some tlc especially considering the price. On arrival several entry mats and the grill cover were scattered around the front main entry. I had to pick these up. The grill itself was also a mess. Property services did send out a cleaning crew and fixed the grill as well as tried to clean some of the windows.

Charming home with an amazing view !

The view can't be beat ! Perfect getaway for the week. Even though the weather didn't fully cooperate, we still had a great time. Excellent location right on the ocean, and loved the fenced in area for the pups ! We sat on the rocking chairs watching the waves and dolphins from the deck the entire week (weather permitting). I would suggest bringing along extra cleaning products for the kitchen if planning to utilize the pots and pans as they needed a little "extra" once over before using but nothing we couldn't handle ! Thank you again for a wonderful stay !!

Great Ocean Getaway

We had a fantastic time at the house and throughly enjoyed having immediate access to the beach. We unfortunately had poor weather while we were there but the home was fully stocked with games and plenty of places to curl up and still hang out. We basically lived on that back deck watching the water come in. The house had everything we needed but note that you will need to bring spices/butter/olive oil and other essentials if you plan to cook.

Absolutely loved this property! Great layout and location for a family beach getaway. Everything was really well labeled and well thought out. WiFi, outdoor grill, outdoor shower, kitchen equipment, connected tv, etc. were all fantastic.

The Million Dollar View

I kept reminding everyone to take a mental picture of that gorgeous view to remember when we go into quarantine again. What a wonderful memory. Oh, and the house is great too! It's been a pleasure staying at Duneside. Set back and private, the perfect getaway. We love Duneside. ♥️
