overbilled for damages

The house was ok. Basically a renovation with all Ikea furniture. There are no sheets on the beds. I asked the property manager to provide and they did not. I was worried about booking because there are no other reviews and that seemed strange. A day after leaving the property manager said he was charging me $1500 in damages for 2 spots on the couch and 2 spots on the back patio. There is no way on earth the damages were $1500. I would not recommend. A strange situation to say the least. Feels like a scam.
