I have to admit, there were some reviews that mentioned the word stuffy that had me concerned. I had the One Bedroom Metro Unit and it was wonderful. Two windows that opened and a Dyson Fan next to the bed. I had no issues and was very comfortable. The room size was very nice with a kitchen and table and a couch separate from the bedroom. No issues with noise, it was very quiet and the neighborhood was very walkable and close to the bus drops which i used from the airport. It worked out very well and I was very happy there.

Abstract is very convenient to K street, although K street is not what it used to be. It's also very convenient to public transport. It is outside of the city and with a 5 min bus ride you are downtown. The kitchen area was the best to have! I could heat up leftovers or cook I wanted. The breakfast buffet is alright. They serve the same thing everyday and coffee is extra. I didn' t like that bit. The staff is very helpful and the hotel is clean. There should be a better way to cool the room at night. If I left the curtain open, the cool air would come in but so would the light from the street lights. That makes it hard to sleep. I would stay here again but I'd also like to try a different hotel.

Room was clean & modern but small with no aircon & just a fan. It was stuffy even with an open window & will be an oven in summer. The TV didnt work & reception couldnt help with it. Otherwise staff were efficient & friendly. The area was noisy with beggars on the streets. The tariff was reasonable, but you got what you paid for.

Room was uncomfortable noisy and a bad layout. Hotel takes a 200 dollar Security deposit which I didn't know would happen which severely affects funds for this trip and also it takes days to get back? In an age if instant transfer this is not acceptable and now I am going to a different part of new Zealand and a different hotel what if they ask the same that previous 200 will not be in my account

The staff were exceptionally kind when they realized we needed a very short notice stay after our flight got canceled. They turned a high stress situation into one of peace. They organized our taxi for the next morning and had wine sent to our room. Totally above and beyond : thank you

Staff and room pleasant, however communication poor on the closure of multiple hotel facilities due to a private function. Nothing mentioned prior to arrival, or even at time of check-in. Simply a printout left in room of all the closed facilities.
