House is in a great location and is an awesome space for a large family or group travelling together. Basic things like dishwashing tablets, toilet paper, hand soap, bin liners were all very limited for the size of the space and the duration of our booking. Such cheap items that shouldn’t be an issue. No cooking oil, salt, pepper provided (basics) and unfortunately also no coffee making facilities either, a spray kitchen cleaner would be useful too. All things to keep house clean during our stay which would also mean it’s clean on departure too. We did reach out to the host for additional dishwasher powder etc which was eventually supplied in limited quantity - one toilet role per toilet only! House is covered in spider webs and needs to be sprayed. Might put some off and the overall cleanliness of showers wasn’t brilliant - mould on the grout. there’s a floor mat by the door to the deck that’s filthy dirty also. not great vibes. need saucepans too - lots of fry pans but not one saucepan in the house. also lack of clothes hangers in the bedrooms. The garden is great. Super safe location. Lots of positives but the little things that had minimal cost but mean so much when in a holiday home would have made it so much better.
