Conveniently located, this renovated retreat offers two bedrooms in a scenic, rural setting situated only a few minutes from the chic village of Matakana. Welcome to The Landing Pad!

Comprised of a private, self-contained two-bedroom studio you will enjoy a peaceful sanctuary positioned away from the owners main residence. Gracefully set on a beautiful 17-hectare estate, the Landing Pad provides a picturesque landscape of farmland, mature trees and previously used aviation landing strip and hanger.

Combining style and convenience, private bathrooms and modern kitchenettes are equipped with a fridge/freezer and dishwasher for your self-catering needs. Unwind in no time with a good book on the outdoor furniture, or for a movie night on the couch with the Smart TV. Head out onto the sunny decking and dine alfresco long into the evening with the brand-new BBQ, on hand for a classic kiwi fry-up.

Central to spectacular white sand surf beaches and gentle sheltered coves, including Tawharanui Regional Park, Omaha, Snells Beach, and Martins Bay. In Matakana Village, enjoy the weekend farmers’ market, restaurants, cafes, boutique shops, and a cinema complex.

For food and wine lovers, there are plenty of local vineyards, cafes, pubs, and restaurants, as well as a popular Saturday farmer's market featuring local artisan foods and produce.

Only 55 minutes north of Auckland, there is no excuse not to escape the big smoke for an extra-special long weekend away.
