When we eventually got our room it had no fridge,cutlery,dishes the cups were tea stained and the tea and coffee box was dirty really not worth the money spent i was too tired to report it all i didn't want to move rooms agai

The room had not been cleaned - I have photos of rubbish under the bed - YUK The tv did not work - I walked to reception 2x and phoned 3x about this - and NOTHING WAS DONE The Fridge leaked all over the carpet The curtain was coming off the rails - I have photos There was no cup to drink tea out of - no teaspoons to stir tea - basically a rubbish dump There was no washing soap for the shower The only redeeming thing was that there were clean towels

The bed was awesome to sleep sleep on with clean white bedding. Toilet seat was loose, shower was fantastic but needs an updating with new clean tiles etc all around and shelf for shampoo's etc. Carpet needs cleaning and kitchen facilities needs attending too. Bigger cups and spoons to stir your tea and tea towels. More milk and tea,coffee. My Television did not work either. But I got a very good sleep.

Thanks for the one night accommodation and upgrade, really appreciative. Admin was courteous and informative with simple and clear instructions. Room was clean, tidy and comfortable. Outside needs maintenance especially side driveway where metal road is. But then it's probably work in progress.

As soon as I got in the room I started sneezing. The carpet is old; needs refurbishing. The carpeted floor going to the swimming pool was uneven, a fall hazard. I got what I paid for; the price was economical. Im glad I only needed an overnight stay. Sorry but I will not recommend this hotel to my friends .

Broken chair in my room, unsafe to sit on. Chipped paintwork and drill holes in the room. Hard to close doors. Hole in the floor under the carpet in the hallway. No electric jug in room. Glad I only had one night there and left early. Man outside my room asking for cigarettes and followed me to reception. Made a hasty departure. Spend extra money and don't stay here. Run down and old.

UNHUMANE! NO BASIC NEEDS- COLD SHOWER ONLY!

Utterly disgusting! Dropped off Gateway, told to checkin here next property to VR. Dragged bags to VR across. Bug spray smell, wobbly faucet, no reception desk! Next AM checkout day, try to shower, NO HOT WATER! Called reception desk, told will call Housekeeping who never came. Checkout time 10am, had 10 mins to shower in COLD WATER! HORRID! Requested MGR, told nit on duty weekends!! COMPLETELY DISGUSTING! UNHUMANE! It’s called BASIC NEEDS! Paid $100 NZD for a night! Could’ve stayed in HOSTELfor half the price with BASIC NEEDS, a bed and a warm water! Hot water was burning HOT and short period then stayed COLD. UNBELIEVABLE!

The VR was unclean and unhygenic with filthy toilets and bathroom. Holes in wall. Obviously neglected. The reception staff were however pleasant enough although gave no information about the wifi.

Service from the receptionist was welcoming, easy to understand when she explained the the layout of the hotel, the timetable of transport concerning travel from and to airports. The meals were great as were the staff services. Although I had a good night sleep, it was challenging due to daylight saving. I'm used to sleeping in a dark room. No fault of the hotel.
