The rooms are really nice with all the comfort I've expected.

My stay in Bad Urach was nothing short of enchanting. Nestled in the gentle hills of the Swabian Alb, this hotel offers spectacular panoramic views that immediately create a sense of peace and connection with nature. Waking each morning to misty mountains, lush greenery, and the quiet charm of the surrounding landscape was truly unforgettable. One of the highlights of the stay was the exceptional dining experience. Each meal was thoughtfully prepared and beautifully presented, showcasing regional flavors with a refined touch. From the comforting warmth of traditional Swabian dishes to the delightful desserts, every bite reflected quality and care. The refreshing Alb-Schorle and elegant candlelit ambiance added to the overall sense of relaxation and indulgence. The location is ideal for both relaxation and exploration. Situated conveniently near the AlbThermen and within easy reach of scenic hiking trails and the charming town center, the hotel serves as a perfect base for discovering the natural beauty and cultural richness of Bad Urach. Whether enjoying a peaceful walk among blooming tulips, venturing to nearby waterfalls, or simply unwinding in the thermal baths, everything is accessible and inviting. What makes this hotel particularly special is its versatility. Great property within walking distance to the heart of the township. Great amenities and mini bar. On site parking - safe and convenient ! To top it off, very pet (we had our Labrador) friendly ! It was a great and restful stay, we will be back if travelling around the area !

Climate control is virtually non-existent — the property offers no air conditioning whatsoever. In its place, a single commercial electric floor fan is provided, which falls significantly short of adequately cooling the space, particularly during warmer periods. This is a major comfort concern that prospective guests should be fully aware of before booking. Adding to the disappointment, the washing machine advertised in the listing photos is nowhere to be found on the premises. This is a direct discrepancy between what was presented at the time of booking and the actual facilities available upon arrival — a misleading representation that materially affected the decision to book this property. Guests who rely on in-unit laundry during their stay will find themselves without this essential amenity.
