A few meters from the entrance, a marvelous viewpoint allows a total view of the Apuan Alps, with marble quarries famous throughout the world, but also rich in nature, trekking and mountaineering trails; from the windows of the house it is possible to see the mountains of the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines, full of paths in the countryside, natural parks and ski resorts. Next to the church of San Pietro, very close to the entrance of the structure, there is the bell tower from which the sock of the biggest Befana in the world, registered in the World Guinness Record, is lowered every year on January 6th.
