Very disappointed that the room was dirty. Smears on the walls, crumbs on the carpet, and white gunk on the kitchen cabinets. The 6th floor suite we had was obviously in need of repair (wallpaper knifed open, carpet detached, drawers not opening properly).... which is all fine, since the hotel is in the process of renovating and hasn't gotten to the 6th floor yet. However, no matter how old a building is, you can still keep it clean and expect a minimum standard of cleanliness. We paid the penalty of 1 night's stay to cancel our full reservation... and just head home instead of settling into the room.

Expected more from the "Hilton" name. Suite was surface clean, no dish soap or cloth for dishes. Only one dining room chair. The pool and pool area were disgusting, food on the floor, old bandage, the railings and above the water line literally had layers of grime. Bathroom looked like it hadn't been cleaned in days, I actually watched as a maintenance man sign off on the cleaning list without cleaning anything. Morning "Hot Buffet" had great options, but everything was quite cold (eggs, bacon, potatoes). Very disappointing stay.

The suite was nice since we had more space and a kitchenette. At the front desk, our kids enjoyed picking out the different choices of food they could make themselves for dinner and the various treats and snacks. We liked how close we were to our event venue too.
