Absolutely horrible experience. My partner and I traveled to Austin for a small vacation, and we had stayed at previous La Quinta hotels before that were all great. However, the staff at this hotel were absolutely awful. Firstly, they had to put us in a different room from the one we were checked into online due to someone already occupying that room. Then, we had AC unit issues in the room we were put in, and this continued until 4 rooms later we were finally able to unpack our belongings, at around 1am that night. After many attempts to try to speak with the manager in person, the front desk attendant got him on the phone for us where he promised to see us in person, and instructed us to email him for a 10 percent discount on our next stay (which, I’d like to mention, is FAR from fair compensation considering our experience). All this to say, he never responded to our email, and no compensation was given. I will be contacting corporate to report this location, as this ruined a good portion of our trip and has now motivated me to never stay at La Quinta again.
