The house was positioned very close a very busy and noisy downtown street. Although noise makers were provided, the bedrooms sit so close to the road you can hear cars drive by and sirens were very loud.

Excellent host - very quick to respond and helpful. Just had a quick overnight stay here for a concert at Bass Hall on UT campus, so didn't really spend much time in the house other than just to sleep.The location for Bass or other campus events is spectacular. Very quick and easy walk to Bass. The bedrooms are on the side of the house along Dean Keaton St, so if you are a light sleeper or otherwise sensitive to road noise, that might be a consideration. This did not bother me at all, but it did bother my friend somewhat. White noise machines are provided in both bedrooms to help with this. The bedrooms also have window unit ACs that when running would help as well.Overall my experience was good and comfortable. Would recommend and would stay again.

Unfortunately was our first VRBO that didn’t match the photos and listing details. Having stayed here now, we are very surprised by the 5 star reviews.There is no mention that this home is located on an extremely busy street with 24 hour road noise. Ear plugs are a must for sleeping! It wasn’t relaxing or comfortable on many levels. The bed in the smaller bedroom was very comfortable. No dressers and few hangers in the one closet in the whole house.The deck and oak tree are lovely, but the deck doesn’t look like it is built to code. The deck chairs are uncomfortable for lounging.Cobwebs on the bedroom ceiling over our bed and the windows. Surfaces and bathroom were very clean.Bath towels are mismatched and old. The coffee pot had the wrong filters and stopped working.Many more disappointments and we will definitely not stay here again. The location is great for U of T events and you can catch ride shares easily. The area felt safe.
