Everything is great from the front-desk staff to the rooms themselves. My room had a sofa instead of a desk, but it wasn't a deal-breaker. The only small downside is level 4 has a lot of fan noise coming from an electrical room - I could hear it a bit with my door shut but otherwise the rest of the hotel is fine. Excellent value and location thanks to food and drinks downstairs and a nice lake to walk around in the area. I would stay there again, no problems at all.

Walkable diggs

If you want a walkable hotel in Austin close to UT and or down town, this is the place. I wouldn't recommend trying to walk to downtown from here - but there are plenty of shops and restaurants within e walking distance to this place.

Checking in was very frustrating & not a pleasant experience at all. I was traveling with my daughter, but the hotel was booked by my husband, with his credit card. I had the credit card in my possession, but the staff wouldn’t let me check in with it because it wasn’t in my name. They said I needed a credit card with my name on it. I don’t have a credit card with my name on it, I’ve never needed one, because this has never been an issue at any other hotel we’ve stayed at. Furthermore, the room had been paid for at the time of the booking, so I’m not sure what the problem was. It was a HUGE issue though, & my husband had to fill out & submit paperwork remotely & had a lot of issues getting it submitted. If we didn’t have somewhere we had to be, I would have

Decent hotel

Stayed over Easter weekend, hotel restaurant was closed on Holy Saturday for a drag queen brunch. Everything is an extra charge, parking, early check in, late check out, water, etc. Overall cleanliness was good although there was some hair in the shower.
