The Space:

You will have access to a brand new modern villa (165 m2 / 512 ft2) located in a private, quite and safe Aqua Viva resort. On the 1st floor you will find a living room with AC unit and ceiling fan, smart TV, comfortable sofa, fully equipped kitchen, work space and a 1/2 bathroom. Large sliding windows give you access to a wide outside terrace with another dining table and comfortable seats for relaxing. The 2nd floor consists two identical bedrooms, each with its own bathroom and balcony. Both bedrooms include an AC unit and ceiling fan, closet and working space. On the upper hallway you will find a sofa-bed. Starlink internet is available within the whole property to ensure you’ll have access to the internet anywhere you go.



Out side you will find a 20 meter long pool with a shaded areas, tables, chairs and cots where you can sit or lay and relax. A smaller gym is also available to stay in shape. Temazcal sauna is available for complete relaxation. We also provide several grills in the resting areas in case that you want to make some delicious BBQ’s. The reception is available 24/7 in case you need any assistance.



Our guests have access to Cayuco Maya beach club free of charge as long as you order something in the restaurant or bar. In case Cayuco Maya is hosting an event, our guests have access to another beach club under the same conditions. The only difference is that this club is not within walking distance from the villas but is located in Bacalar.



Guest Access:

Villas are equipped with modern security locks operated via unique access codes that will be generated for the length of your stay. Full instructions will be send via a welcome message. The resort has 24/7 security guard, so you can check-in even in late hours.



The Neighborhood:

Aqua Viva complex is located 5 minutes by car from a very nice and quite local lagoon club Cayuco Maya, where you can rent kayaks, hire a sailing boat or just enjoy the crystal clear waters of Bacalar.



In about 10 minutes of driving you can reach Bacalar, in 45 minutes you can drive to the beautiful beaches on the Caribbean coast of Mahahual and If you are feeling adventures the boarders of Belize are just 40 minutes away. There are also many archeological sites near by, as well as countless free-time activities on the lagoon.



Getting Around:

We strongly recommend to rent a car to easily move around and to better enjoy the whole area.



Other Things to Note:

Aqua Viva resort contains a total of 16 villas for rent. In case of a bigger group please contact us for a group reservation. In the resort you will find a 20 meter swimming pool with a kids pool in the corner. Next to the reception you will have access to a small gym that will keep you in shape while your stay.
