Brand new house on Lake Michigan nestled in a cedar forest with great views of Cana Island from the shore.

Set in a beautiful wooded lot this unique 2,026 sq ft home will make you feel welcome. With covered decks, screen porch, natural wood burning stone fireplace with sunken seating, and accents of natural cedar with rustic charm and elegance.

Two bedrooms: One downstairs with queen bed and private deck looking out to Lake Michigan. The second upstairs with a king size bed. The first floor bedroom opens onto a private deck with great views of Lake Michigan.

The great room has huge picture windows looking out to the lake and a Panoramic door leading from the great room into the covered screen deck. A very comfortable king size sofa sleeper and armchairs are located in the great room to both take advantage of the view and enjoy the TV and BluRay player. There is also a game table in this room, a variety of board games, movies and books are available for your use. The great room also has a wood-burning fireplace with sunken seating area.

Overlooking the great room is a loft with a full size sofa-sleeper and seating looking out the front windows to the lake. Great place to sit, relax and read a book.

Off the great room is a dining room with table seating 8. The dining room also opens up to the screened deck area.

The kitchen is full equipped: Refrigerator/freezer with ice-maker, Gas range and electric oven, microwave and dishwasher. Coffee maker and other common small appliances are provided. The cabinet is stocked with typical staple items for your use.

There are two bathrooms: The first floor bathroom has a tub/shower and the upstairs bath a shower. Towels and washcloths are provided as well as travel shampoo and soap.

Our hosts were so accommodating! We had some issues that could have cancelled our stay but Steve gave us some options and everything worked out. the house and views were amazing- we loved the view of Cana lighthouse each evening. A great choice for a stay in Door Co.

Everything we needed and more for a long weekend. Kitchen was well stocked for cooking, there were plenty of board games and movies, and the home was more spacious than expected. We actually haven't been there yet - a major blizzard hit the area the weekend if our stay. I reached out to the owners when I heard reports it was life threatening. The owners were incredibly gracious to rearrange a weekend. They wound up with over 3 ft of snow and an emergency that would've stranded us for days. We look forward to our stay in April!

The host was great to work with and communicated well. The house is well appointed with everything you need and very clean. Easily can accommodate a larger group than the 3 of us with space for everyone. The property is fairly private with a firepit near the lake and chairs out by the lake. We all said we would stay here again. The only knock would be the memory foam mattress's and the pillows are not our preferred choice but not the end of the world. This home is a very nice place to stay.

It was wonderful! The house immaculate, well provisioned with beautiful art work, inside and out, but left plenty of room for us to place our things for the time we were there. Good, clear instructions ...but not too many! Our weather was mild so we never built a fire but could imagine how cozy it would be! The porches were great, but our favorite place was the chairs on the beach...we saw moonrise over Cana Island, the fog envelop us and the lighthouse, stars innumerable, "the northern lights", and the sun rise out of Lake Michigan...it was magical! I am always so happy when the rental space is just as pictured, but this one exceeded our expectations! Hope we can return!

The screen porch and view of Lake Michigan from every window can't be beat. It's so wonderful to have the windows open and hear the waves 24/7. This is the most well-stocked vacation home we've ever stayed in! They've thought of everything with little touches that make your stay comfortable and special. The decor is fun, pretty, and our taste so it was attractive to me immediately. The hosts are very responsive to questions, and answer any questions quickly! This was our second stay there and we'll be back, I'm sure. Great house, which makes your vacation great!

Our fifth time staying here - beautiful home and setting in the woods by the lake. As much fun and relaxing to be on the porch and by the lake at the house as it is to explore Door County.
