Everything at the courtyard by marriott wonderful. The staff were kind and helpful, the atmosphere was calm and relaxing, the cleanliness was excellent, and the location is very convenient and close to everything. I truly enjoyed my stay and will definitely stay here again every time I visit Azerbaijan.

I am from Canada. This is the best hotel we stayed in south Caucasus countries even though other hotels we stayed are all 5-star hotel while this is a 4-star hotel. But this hotel beats other two 5-star hotels we stayed in South Caucasus, Bugattis, Romania and Moldova. I would think this 4-star hotel aligns with 4-star hotel standard in Canada.

Do not recommend

Unfortunately, I cannot recommend it due to several issues we experienced. We paid extra for a premium room but did not receive the promised amenities. The city view from our room was also extremely disappointing. The service throughout our stay was consistently terrible. Upon check-in, no one assisted us with our bags, and I had to move the luggage cart myself. The staff, in general, were very unfriendly. For example, a server at the bar seemed annoyed when I inquired about decaf coffee. Additionally, our room was not cleaned until 5 or 6 PM each day, despite us leaving the room by 11 AM. Finally, we arranged for a taxi to the airport through the hotel and paid double the standard price to ensure a convenient pickup, especially since we had three heavy, 25 kg suitcases. However, the taxi did not arrive at the front of the hotel. We were forced to walk an additional 10 minutes behind the hotel with our heavy luggage, and no one offered a cart or assistance.

Excellent staff and decent room - a little bit on the small side but perfectly adequate. The only negative thing to say is that the fire alarm on the ceiling was constantly flashing every 20 seconds, incredibly brightly, which made it difficult to fall asleep once you noticed it in the dark.
