We loved our stay at Ciro’s Sicilian villa.The villa was spotless and beautifully maintained. Fast, reliable internet made it easy to stay connected. The private pool is a highlight and thoughtfully designed for child safety - one reason we chose it for our young ones.We were pleasantly surprised by how quiet the property is despite being near a road. Evenings on the terrace were peaceful. Balestrate beach is easily the best beach in the area and just 5 mins down the road.Ciro is a splendid host: helpful and accommodating. Arrival and departure were effortless, and he shared excellent local tips for nearby and day-trip adventures.Highly recommended for families and couples - a real hidden gem.

The property was really lovely. Exactly as the photos and exceptionally clean.Our lovely host lives next door and was on hand for anything needed, nothing was too much trouble.Communication leading up to our stay was great and I received replies to my emails on the same day.Our host speaks good English and I understand is also fluent in German. I think he speaks French as well!The property is within easy walking distance of a lovely beach and a nice town that had everything we needed. We did not have a car and we did not need one for our requirements.The drive from Palermo airport is about 45 minutes. We arranged for our host to drive us.It was very hot when we were there in September, but the air con was fine.The pool and gardens were immaculate, with the pool being cleaned daily.I was there as a single Mum with my 2 young adult daughters and we felt the area to be safe.All the doors and windows in the prooerty have bars and bug screens, we had no mosquitos.I would definitely recommend without hesitation and would happily stay again.

The house is very nice with everything you need for a comfortable staying. Outside porch is enjoyable, garden is nice with barbecue area and a very clean swimming pool. Ciro, the host, is welcoming and helpful, we checked in late at night and he was there waiting for us and showing us around. He lives nearby and when help is needed he is always promptly at hand.

Fabulous stay

We had a super holiday here. The garden is beautifully maintained and the pool is a fabulous addition. The house is spotless and as per the photos. It could probably do with a little updating but we had everything we needed. Ciro is a great host and very helpful. The house is in a great location, within walking distance to both the sandy beach and the town of Balestrate. I'd recommend staying here.

Nice countryside apartment as a starting point for day trips around

Overall our staying in the apartment was good enough to recommend it to other travellers in particularly with younger children. Good points: enough space for 4 adults because of 2 separate bedrooms, very clean, all necessary equipment, nice green yard with small children playground, outdoor area with a barbecue zone, cooperative and helpful host. Could be better: would be great to have at least basic essentials like a soap, internet signal was poor, instructions how to avoid problems with electricity shall be provided during check in. Tips: car is absolutely needed. Bring repellents - there are a lot of mosquito.

Private, rustic and relaxing.

It wasn't until we came here that we truly felt we were in Italy. This home gave us an opportunity to shop and cook our Italian meals and relax. Waking up to a nearby rooster and in the late afternoon hearing the bells on the necks of goats grazing made it out perfect Sicilian vacation. Ciro was delightful, met us at a local, easy to find gas station and led the way to our vacation home. Within minutes we were there. Ciro went through the items of what we needed to know (tv, switches, etc) and was nearby if needed. A nearby beach, less than 5 minutes was ideal to enter and swim. Going into town was close by and easy to get to. When we return, this is where we will want to stay.

Super séjour, Ciro a été un hôte charmant. Petite maison conforme à l'annonce et suffisant pour notre famille de 3 personnes. Piscine entretenue tout les matins. Seuls points d'amélioration: La climatisation est un peu veillotte et bruyante mais nous ne l'avons pas utilisée tant que ça malgré la forte température. Le matelas à ressort du lit parental est un petit peu spécial, il faut éviter de trop bouger pour ne pas faire rebondir son voisin :-). Mais à part ses points tout s'est très bien passé, je recommande Ciro et sa maison.

Un séjour au top chez Ciro ! Voyage avec bébé de 9 mois, tout le nécessaire sur place sur demande. Logement fonctionnel et agréable qui permet de rayonner dans l'ouest de la Sicile. Parking ombragé, jardin privé très bien entretenu, avec jeux pour enfants (balançoire, basket, hamac...) et le gros plus..la piscine privée rien que pour nous que Ciro entretient tous les matins ! Bref vraiment une très bonne adresse ! Bouteille de vin rouge à l'arrivée. Ciro parle très bien français (ainsi que l'allemand) et donne des idées de visites restos etc..Encore merci CiroMarie, Clément e la bambina !

Ontspannen genieten

We hebben heerlijk 11 dagen verbleven bij Ciro. Een fijne gastheer met fijne vakantiehuizen. Voornamelijk de tuin was echt fantastisch. Omdat deze afgesloten was, konden we met een gerust hart ons dochtertje rond laten lopen. Daarnaast is er een buitendouche waar we met veel plezier gebruik van maakten. Ook het huisje zelf was kindvriendelijk wat ons betreft. De bedden waren prima, al hoewel ze wel een upgrade zouden kunnen gebruiken. De koekenpannen in de keuken waren ook niet in beste staat meer, maar opzich kon je goed uit de voeten met alle spullen in de keuken. De wasmachine werkte perfect en er is een fijne waslijn in de tuin vol in de zon. Ciro komt af en toe langslopen om te vragen het gras te maaien of planten water te geven als we weg zijn. Wij vonden dit niet storend. Ciro is een fijne gastheer die goed bereikbaar is voor vragen of advies. Hij denkt graag met je mee en is vriendelijk naar je kinderen toe. Wij raden dit huisje zeker aan en als we teruggaan naar Sicilië zouden we terugkomen bij Ciro.

Perfect accommodation

Thanks to the very friendly and helpful host we had a very pleasant stay in a nice home with a palm garden. Quiet surroundings, A short driving distance to a nice beach. We can recommend this place to families with children as well as elderly people like us. Excellent.

Sehr schöne Ferienwohnung

Eine sehr schöne Ferienwohnung mit noch schönerem privatem Garten. Unser Sohn hat den Außenbereich mit zahlreichen Spielzeugen sehr genossen. Bei Ciro haben wir uns vom ersten Moment an sehr wohl gefühlt. Durch seine freundliche und hilfsbereite Art hatten wir stets das Gefühl, bei einem guten Freund zu Besuch zu sein.

très bon séjour

le logement est très propre à l' intérieur comme à l'extérieur. il est situé à 10 mn à pied de la mer et du centre ville ce qui est appréciable. les véhicules sont garées sous un espace ombragé. Le propriétaire est très sympathique et met tout en oeuvre pour nous faire passer un bon séjour. Nous avons apprécié qu'il parle français. il a été très disponible et réactif quand nous avons eu besoin en urgence d'un médecin. Nous le remercions encore .

Très bon séjour

Très bon séjour passé ce mois d’août à Balestrate. La maison est très agréable et spacieuse et le jardin très appréciable. Nous avons eu la possibilité de faire quelques barbecue dans le jardin. L’accès à la plage et au centre peut se faire à pied ou en voiture. Pas de souci pour se garer à la plage.

J'y retournerai.

Nous y avons passé 3 semaines fantastiques en Juillet. Le logement est très bien équipé, pratique, super propre et très bien placé. Le jardin est juste magnifique. En hauteur nous avons pu (au départ) bénéficier de l'air rafraichissant de la mer. Pdt la canicule nous avons bénéficié de la clim (mega ouf!).Quant à Ciro, super hôte, nous avons vraiment sympathisé. Prévenant, attentionné il s'occupe très bien de son logement et de ses locataires. Le bruit de la route ne nous a pas du tout dérangé, pourtant en France nous vivons en campagne très calme. Ciro mérite amplement son statut de super hôte. Lors de notre prochain séjour en Sicilia (nous y allons régulièrement) nous irons chez lui....les yeux fermés, en toute confiance. Et c'est avec plaisir que nous reverrons Ciro. Je lui mets 5 coeurs!

Très agréable séjour chez Ciro. Un hôte très accueillant et serviable. Il nous attendez devant la location pour nous accueillir et nous expliquer tout le fonctionnement. Ciro ist ein charmanter aufmerksamer Gastgeber. Er ist sehr bemüht, dass sich seine Gäste wohlfühlen. Das Haus ist mit allem ausgestattet was man für die Ferien braucht, ist sehr sauber und hat einen schönen Garten. Ballestrate hat uns sehr gefallen, da es dort wenig Touristen hat. Wohlfühlurlaub

Wir waren nach sieben Jahren zum zweiten Mal bei Ciro zu Gast. Uns erwartete in seinem Ferienhaus eine von zwei völlig von einander unabhängigen Ferienwohnungen mit einer guten Ausstattung im Innen- und Außenbereich. Alles ist liebevoll eingerichtet und wird von Ciro mit viel Engagement gepflegt. Die Bilder im Angebot entsprechen dem, was einen erwartet. Eine grüne Oase, der Strand ist fußläufig zu erreichen (der Rückweg etwas anstrengender bergauf), das Meer von der überdachten Terrasse zu sehen. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist ausgezeichnet. Der Ort Balestrate bietet Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, verschiedene Lokalitäten und wunderschöne Ausblicke auf Meer und Berge. Es gibt eine Menge lohnender historischer und landschaftlicher Ausflugsziele in der näheren und etwas weiteren Umgebung. Ciro ist ein äußerst angenehmer Gastgeber, der es sich zur Aufgabe macht für seine Gäste die besten Vorausetzungen für einen gelungenen Urlaub zu schaffen. Er steht für jedes Problem zur Verfügung und gibt gerne auch Auskünfte und Ratschläge zur Urlaubsgestaltung in der Region. Die Kommunikation war für uns besonders leicht, da Ciro ein ausgezeichnetes Deutsch beherrscht. Wir danken Ciro ganz herzlich für den gelungenen Urlaub.

Hier kann man sehr gut entspannen

Mare pulitissimo 💖

Cadre très agréable proche plage

Accueil excellent et chaleureux, disponibilité de Ciro tout en étant très discret . Cadre très agréable et parfaitement entretenu, on oublie la route proche.
