Compare Hotels with Parking in Balingup

We were very fortunate to find this place as we were a group about to walk the Bibbulmun Trail either side of Balingup and needed a place for 9-10 people; hard to find which isn’t separate chalets. The house was a perfect location with a fantastic view. The number of bedrooms perfect; although we needed some single beds and the house only had the 5 Queen sized beds, Stuart our host was fantastic in finding some alternative bedding for us.(In fact the house is now waiting on some single beds to arrive).The kitchen was fairly well stocked, and the 2 bathrooms quite adequate. The outside fire was used at least twice as we sat around relaxing, experiencing the sunset view while discussing the day that was.And the pool table inside was the setting for a doubles championship over 3 nights!The visit to feed the alpacas on Stuart’s property next door was an extra bonus. Stuart’s hand’s on approach to making sure everything was as perfect as possible made a positive difference to our stay

An absolutely amazing place to stay for a quiet weekend getaway! We went south for some nature walks and were not disappointed with some good wildflowers in the area. The accommodation was lovely, comfortable bed, stunning views, delicious breakfast and great company. Thanks to Julie and Reyer for making our stay so memorable.

Marita and Ian are the perfect hosts. As a woman travelling alone it was very reassuring to be met by smiling faces and I immediately felt safe. Nothing is too much trouble and your hosts are always around, albeit decretely to help in any way they can. The property is magnificent and immaculate. The room I stayed in had a queen size bed and was very spacious with the most beautiful bathroom including a fabulous claw foot bath to soak in and walk in shower. Immediately outside on the verandah was a small tea and coffee station with a micro wave and bar fridge. The attention to detail was amazing with the added touches of chocolates and milk in the fridge. Ians love of the garden is strikingly obvious with one of the most beautiful gardens I have ever seen. The birds love it there too and I was astounded by the variety that make it their home.The village of Balingup is only 5 mins away making it just far enough away to feel like you have escaped to the country. I highly recommend a visit to this oasis in the South West of Western Australia and intend on booking again as soon as I can.Many thanks to Marita and Ian for your warm hospitality. The property was absolutely lovely and so peaceful! I stayed there with my toddler and two dogs and we had really nice time. The house was super clean and stocked with everything we needed. The host was great to deal with and very patient. We will most likely be booking again in the near future! Highly recommend.

Cosy, comfortable retreat. The perfect place for a relaxing country getaway. The aspect is 11 out 10 - rolling hills, trees & livestock. Just magic!
