Had another amazing stay. Staff hotel facilities all 2nd to none. Rooms are spacious & spotlessly clean. My only grip is the pillows. They are way to hard for me. I personally prefer a soft pillow but would not let this deter me from returning.

The room Was extremely warm with no apparent way to reduce the temperature! Spa was fully booked during our stay to even use the hot tub 😞 it was our 20th wedding anniversary and a little complimentary drink or surprise in the room would have been nice….

Upon arrival our room was quite dirty however, the front desk staff addressed it immediately and sent in cleaners to tidy up. The location is stunning. The breakfast was great as was our dinner at the Lookout. The mattresses were really hard though, like sleeping on concrete. Only spent one night.

As a late check in i watched the one person at reception deal with a telephone reservation for almost 20 minutes.....when i was finally checked in...the room temperature was 24c with no A/C. They did provide a fan but it took ages for the room to cool down. At very least the windows should have been opened.

The restaurant staff were absolutely amazing, they were so efficient and friendly and made us feel welcome. The views were spectacular and the atmosphere was relaxed. The breakfast was perfect and was beautifully presented. I would definitely stay here again! Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Beautiful Location.

We recently stayed here for a wedding, and overall had a good experience. The location is fantastic, beautiful views of the coast, definitely the main selling point for the hotel. The ground floor of the hotel is especially lovely, with a great courtyard that’s perfect for relaxing. Breakfast was very good, with loads of choice and generous portions. Our room was spacious, but a little tired in places. The shower head kept falling off and the water pressure wasn’t great, which took away from the overall comfort. We didn’t get to explore much of the hotel or nearby areas because of the wedding, but for the price, we expected a bit more. We were also surprised to be charged £20 for a late checkout of just 60 minutes, especially as the hotel didn’t seem particularly busy. Other places we’ve stayed recently have been more flexible with this, so it felt a bit excessive. That said, we’d still recommend the hotel, the location and atmosphere are great - but a few small improvements would go a long way.

The view and facilities at this hotel are excellent but the real star has to be the staff who go above and beyond in all aspects of your stay, reception staff are just wonderful. Spa is quiet and tranquil nothing extravagant but enough to relax and very private. Bar and restaurant staff were always friendly and helpful.

We had a perfect stay at the Salthouse. It has a lovely atmosphere. From the welcoming staff and delicious food. Superb breakfast, we loved the presentation. The bedroom was large with a super comfy bed and a very well equipped big modern shower room. All so clean.. The views are amazing over Rathlin Island and Fair head. We'll be back
