Lovely hotel in a beautiful setting. Only one person on the reception desk who was on the phone so had to wait a while to check in. Was told it was room only despite my insistence that breakfast was included. Eventually she found the booking and agreed that breakfast was included By this time, there were several couples waiting to check in. Our room was in a separate annexe which was lovely but unfortunately the walls between the rooms were very thin. We had several people trying our door. There didn't seem to be any signs anywhere asking people to respect other guests. We were kept awake until the early hours by noisy neighbours
room was scruffy, when we arrived despite checking by phone 2 days previous they couldnt find one of our rooms. Evening meal was ok but dining room chilly, breakfast was an abomination, I left the greasy cold english and had to go for cereal and toast. There was a huge lack of staff and those that were there were not very hepful, our wine with our evening meal came when it was nearly eaten. Should have been lovely but in reality 'Fawlty Towers
Fabulous breakfast worth every penny. Only downside is too much furniture in the bed room. It was covering the electrical outlets so had to keep moving an enormous chair to get to them. Also don’t park under the trees by the entrance, we did and was welcomed back to a car covered in pigeon poo. Never seen anything like it. You have been warned, don’t do it 😂
Lovely hotel for a spontaneous night away- great staff- excellent bar food .

Nice Hotel and weekend away
Very nice hotel, and accomadation.
Service was excellent throughout.
Choice of food for evening meal was very poor, so decided to go elsewhere.
Breakfast was especially good.
Leisure facilities, pool, and gym were of a high standard.
I will return again and recommend this hotel.
We love this hotel. Even had our wedding reception here. The only negative for us that this particular visit was for us to relax and enjoy some peace. Our room was located near to one of the main suites that have weddings/parties. There was a party on the night we stayed and we was woken and kept awake by other guests returning to their rooms and carrying on their party in the rooms. It hasnt put is off staying but next time id ask to have our room in a quieter part of the hotel.
