READ RHIS BEFORE BOOKING. I woke up at 2:00 am itching and when I turned the light on I had bits all over my body. When I pulled the sheet back exposing the mattress I found bed bugs, which until this point I had never seen. I caught one in a napkin and checked online and sure enough that’s what it was. I dressed and went to the front desk and upon showing it to the cheek and all my bites, I was told there was nothing she could do til the manager got there the next morning. I asked for another room and was told there wasn’t any ( I later found out that wasn’t true.). I asked for cleaning supplies and was told they were locked up and she didn’t have the key. I remember the hotel had a guest laundry so I decided to wash all my clothes but the door marked laundry which was open, turned out to be the hotel service laundry but there were cleaning supplies, so I took bug spray and cleaner. The clerk then yelled at me to get out of there. I showed her what I found and that I would return them when I cleaned the room. She then told me she was calling the police . Which she did and a half hour later after I had cleaned the room the police showed up and I was forced to leave. It was just above freezing at 3:30 am and I was on a motorcycle. After trying four hotels all booked since it’s leaf season I gave up and rode an hour away to another hotel. I was called by the manger the next day apologizing since the whole thing was on video and the clerk never told her what was happening.
