The elevators were down, which was fine, but the stairs are on the very ends of each hall and my room was the last in the hall. This meant that I heard the door slam all night long, which kept me and my dog up. The room wasn’t the cleanest and there wasn’t a single trash can in the room.

Check in was enhanced by the excellent staff. They were very helpful with getting us a ground floor room near an exit, as we had a small dog. Front desk staff were very friendly, as was our van driver.

Bad smell

The room was clean but was not happy with the elevator being down since January of 2025, had to take stairs to my room, to the third floor. Stair wells reeked of marijuana and the hallways. Front desk could have been a little bit friendlier. Would I stay there again, probably not..

I recently stayed at LaQuinta BWI], and unfortunately, my experience was far from pleasant. Upon arrival, I discovered that the elevator was out of service. There was no prior notice given about this issue, which was incredibly frustrating, especially since my room was on the fourth floor. Had I known in advance, I would have considered alternative accommodations. To make matters worse, the hallways had a strong smell of marijuana, which made the walk up to my room even more unpleasant. It was clear that management was either unaware or unconcerned about enforcing a clean and comfortable environment for guests. The lack of communication and overall condition of the hotel made my stay disappointing. I would not recommend this hotel unless management takes steps to improve their communication, maintain facilities properly, and ensure a more welcoming atmosphere for guests.
