This hotel is a diamond in the rough. The staff was courteous and helpful. The room was immaculate, the bed was comfortable and the water pressure in the shower was great. If I could give this property six stars, I would. It's now my go to place in Baltimore.

The staff was great. Patrick at the front desk checked us in and gave us some great recommendations for dinner! The hotel room was clean and access to our own washer was great!! Definitely booking again if we come back to Baltimore! Loved everything about Roost!

The room was in great condition and the staff was very courteous and professional. However, the "free on-site parking" was not free at all and I had to walk a block and a half with a broken knee to walk from the car to the hotel. Also, the Internet in the room was not working consistently and it was very frustrating. I booked at Roost so that we would have access to a full kitchen but there were no kitchen towels, potholders, etc. to actually cook. Everything LOOKED great, though. Also, the bed had no sheets - was that by design or an oversight? No information was given on the pool or any other amenities. It gave a "find it out on your own" vibe. There way to darken the lights from outside as the blinds were too thin and the room was not dark. In short, the place was crisp and clean but I really feel like I overpaid. If you want a great-looking room and just a shower and go place that screams sterility, this is great.
