It was very nice. Tracy was wonderful to deal with. The only thing was that the bathroom exhaust fan wasn't working and one lamp switch didn't work. But that's just what happens in life so we loved it and will definitely return when back in Bandera.

The Vaquero was a cute lil cabin across from the River in Bandera Tx. The room was beautiful and modern with everything you need to have a comfy stay. The beds were comfortable and the room was so clean upon arrival. The host was very accommodating and kept in touch all week. I will be back and highly recommend this place 😊

I really enjoyed staying here, everything was clean and the bed was very comfortable! It's very peaceful and quiet. The only thing I would complain about is the air conditioner window unit is very loud and kept waking me up. Other then that it was a perfect stay.

New favorite place to stay in Bandera,Tx.

Well let's just say we absolutely plan on returning. Friendly staff, clean room, comfortable bed, across from a county park, pet friendly and loved the front porch to sit and relax.

Great Stay

We enjoyed our brief stay the staff were friendly and helpful, the location great to walk into town. Our only issue was the AC which was incredibly noisy and difficult to regulate. Despite this we loved our stay.

The front office staff were very cordial and welcoming. The cabin was quaint and comfortable.The location was very convenient and walking distance to the little town shops and restaurants. I stayed in cabin 8 and my complaints were that the shower was very small and was stopped up so the water would fill up. The headboard on the queen bed was leaning forward. The extension chord they had on the nightstand by the bed did not work. I didnt feel too safe cause the door was really loose even when deadbolted locked. They advertised a river view which was a park across the street with the river at the bottom of the hill that you could not even see. Lastly, the Motel is next to a busy street so you could'nt sleep in, with the traffic passing through really early in the morning. Even with the few things that went wrong, I would stay there again for the comfort and the loving welcome they offered.

Fun and great location

It was a great hotel, and it will be my main place to stay in the area. It is a short walk to restaurants and bars. It is short drive everywhere. It was a cute place that my wife will love.

Great service, great price, beautiful location - you can see the Medina river, and tale a walk by the river - right across the street from the cabins. We walked to the restaurants on the main street - just minutes away, walking. Beautiful country!

Really cool place near downtown and the river. Lots of amenities like outdoor sitting areas, your own fire pit and a big BBQ grill. Very clean and super helpful management. We liked the area so much we booked an additional night.

Perfect cabin

This is a very nice cabin atmosphere, directly across the beautiful park of the Medina river, with a full kitchen and very comfortable bed and nice shower. The only thing I would mention to be aware there is a $75 pet fee, which I think is steep versus other places.

Clean room with rustic decor that is very Texan. We only stayed one night, but it was cold and the heater in The room (which Looks like a window air conditioner) was very noisy.
