We had a wonderful stay at the Otter Hotel in Banff. While everything isn't open yet at the Otter, we enjoyed access to the Canoe's sauna and pool. Being the first hotel in Banff, is conveniently located just a 15-minute walk from town and across from a bus stop. They even provide a free bus pass, which is very convenient. The Canoe and Otter both have restaurants, and we had a delightful breakfast at the Canoe. The staff were kind enough to keep our luggage after we checked out, allowing us to continue exploring. Overall, a fantastic experience, and we highly recommend the Otter Hotel for anyone visiting Banff. --- How's that? Feel free to tweak it to better fit your experience!

The check-in process was smooth, and the staff greeted us with warm hospitality. The rooms were spacious, elegantly designed, and equipped with all the modern amenities. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the views from our window were simply breathtaking. Overall, our stay was beyond exceptional. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a luxurious and relaxing getaway. Will definitely be returning soon!

Still under major renovations, mountain view room overlooking construction and a roof. Girl who we spoke to first was very vague and not very hospitable, very loud hallways that echo in the room, construction everywhere. Evening staff much more attentive, beautiful lobby, free parking is wonderful.

On arrival we were warmly greeted by receptionist from Czech Republic. Very efficient, friendly and informative. Helped my son and I access ski lockers. Room was excellent and all we required for this ski trip. Free Ski shuttle buses run to Sunshine, Lake Louise and Norquay, just 50m from the hotel reception. The restaurant is an absolute marvel. The quality of the food is outrageous. Highly recommend eating hear, even if you are not a guest at this hotel. Boar chop is a masterpiece. The Rib eye steak for 2 is without a doubt, the best steak I have eaten anywhere on the planet. I can't find words to do this meal justice. The servers and Chef are so knowledgeable about their menu and you can see the passion this young team has for food and service to their customers. It was an absolute pleasure to stay at The Otter Hotel Banff. Thank you for such a warm friendly stay.

Great stay!

Awesome hotel! not sure if they always have it running, but the heat was up to like 30 degrees in the hallways when I was there. Only gripe. other than that, awesome stay :) would stay again.

It was nice when I checked in and they asked my what kind of coffee or tea I like to take to my room and pack you a cute little bag. I also appreciated the dog treats and the toy for my dog. There was a bed, water/food bowl and poo bags in the room provided. The room was really nice, quiet and I loved the dual head shower. It will be even better when the pool/tubs open up at this hotel.

Great hotel, unfortunately the hot pool was not open as it was under construction. Hotel staff were friendly, amazing host in the kitchen I believe his name was Adam! Highly recommend having a bite to eat if you stay here or are in Banff.

Great hotel

Loved our stay at the Otter. The staff was great. Restaurant attached was top notch. The hot pools weren’t open yet but it was a nice touch that we could use the ones at the hotel beside it. Only complaint was the bed wasn’t as comfortable as I liked and the halls and elevator were extremely hot. I would stay again despite this because everything else made up for it.
