The rooms are definitely not five-star more like a three-star hotel. The service generally was excellent though and from reception it does look like a five-star hotel. However the sauna and steam rooms were not operational during my stay which is a shame because I wanted to use them and they are quite small too. The room did have a safe and a fridge which was very good to have. The bathroom did have some mould in the tub area which was not very pleasant but didn't really detract from my stay.

Hotel is well located for transport with the Makkasan station being within easy walking distance. Service was good from all of the staff. My room was very much what I expected -clean and comfortable bed - I would say it is good value for the money.

The standard room was nice, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good. The thing I like the most about this hotel is the location. Within 1km of the hotel there is a canal boat dock, the Makkasan Airport rail link, and the an MRT station.

The decor and room are very dated and wasnt cleaned properly when i checked in. There was someone elses hair and food crumbs near the bed. The shower had pink marks on the tiling and the shower door got stuck several times. No extra toilet paper was left as a backup incase i ran out. No power sockets in the bathroom was inconvenient. No streaming services on television for guests wanting to watch English speaking content. It seems the public spaces in the hotel are well maintained, but the rooms themselves need work, particularly when it was supposed to be an upgraded room. Not really 5* hotel when compared with 5* hotels these days. Hotel room was super basic.

One of my favorite hotels in Thailand! Location, price, staff, gym, clean and safe! I wish the menu was smaller and was more traditional like it used to be here years ago. Food is ok but expensive and not as tasty as street food. Update TVs to smart TVs and upgrade internet! No real complaints! I love this hotel.
