Great location

A 2 night stay for work, this was a central location and worked well. Sadly the air con was not working and the room had no opening windows. A fan was supplied, but still quite stuffy in the room Bar service was a bit slow, but food was delicious. No noise from the airport at all All in all a good stay

Roasting hot and not dealt with

Love the character of the hotel however on check in the receptionist seemed not to know what she was doing. Another man advised the air con was not working throughout the hotel but advised there would be a fan in the room. We were actually given a heater not at a fan. At 4pm I advised the first receptionist who said she would arrange a fan. This didn’t happen, and I had to go to reception at 3am begging for a fan as the room was way too hot. I was first told they had none but then was given one from a vacant room. This should not have happened. Upon going for breakfast (which I booked with the first receptionist) this was not booked the lady in the breakfast area had to sort this out. All in all I really like the hotel but service was definitely poor and nothing like what we received last year.

Can't wait to return.

The best hospitality staff we have ever co.e across. Clean, comfy, near the airport. This building was the old airport and it has retained its wonderful art nouveau vibes. Vintage aeroplanes round the back. Breakfast is early....but order room service!

Stayed before. A very good hotel, location is ideal for airport and south liverpool area. Staff were amazing during our stay. Truly outstanding. However, air-conditioning wasn't working on one of the hottest days of the year so far which made for a challenging late afternoon in the hotel bar and night's sleep.

We had trouble checking in and out, slow service at dinner (and was also told the Steak Frittes didn’t come with fries when it clearly states it does) and had to clear our own table in the bar to be able to sit down. Would not recommend or stay again.

When I booked this hotel I didn’t realize it’s special history as the former airport terminal. It has special touches all around such as being able to view old planes. The location near the shops and restaurants was very convenient. We all really enjoyed our stay.

Golden Rule Broken!

My check in experience was warm and friendly. 1. When I locked my card key in my room and asked for a replacement I was given a new card, no identity questions asked at all. When I told the person that was unacceptable the person replied that she 'had checked me in'. She lied, she did not check me in! 2. In spite of having left the card on my door from 8am requesting that my room be cleaned, it was not cleaned. 3. The next day, it was cleaned poorly. 4. The air conditioning also did not work. It was one of the hottest days of the year! Other than that, the hotel was acceptable.
