Soak in stunning, direct views of Grandfather Mountain from the expansive covered front porch, stretching over 65 feet wide, or unwind in the private hot tub and backyard fire pit area. This beautiful cabin sleeps up to eight guests and features soaring cathedral ceilings with exposed beams, along with an open-concept kitchen, dining, and living space designed for gathering. A striking stone wood-burning stove anchors the living room, complemented by four TVs and a variety of games, creating a welcoming space for family and friends to relax and reconnect.

The living room offers ample comfortable seating around the wood-stove fireplace, while the dining area includes a large table and shelves stocked with games for all ages. A conveniently tucked-away desk in the dining area makes it easy to work remotely or catch up on emails. The king ensuite bedroom is located at the end of the hall and includes a walk-in closet, a private bath with a tub and shower combination, and its own door leading directly to the porch and hot tub. Also on the main level is a queen bedroom, along with a full shared bathroom with a tub and shower. Just off the living room, the bunk room features tall ceilings, beautiful peaked windows, and two sets of twin-over-twin bunks, making it a perfect space for kids and teens. For additional sleeping space, the living room includes a comfortable pull-out sofa.

Outdoor living truly shines here. The oversized front porch is furnished with rocking chairs, lounge seating, a full dining table, and a hot tub with unforgettable Grandfather Mountain views. A Weber grill makes outdoor cooking a breeze, and the wooded, sloped front yard provides exceptional privacy. From the side stairs, head down to a lower stone patio with a cozy bistro table, or continue around to the back of the home where you will find a secluded fire pit area nestled in the woods, perfect for s'mores, laughter, and evenings under the stars.

Perfect cabin getaway

The cabin was well-stocked. The location was exactly what we had hoped. Our young children and teens got to enjoy the snow! We had the best of worlds with the cozy cabin and the proximity. Our only issue as hot tub chemicals were very strong. Overall a great stay!had raw skin.us had raw skin Otherwsiw

Details Matter

The house was very nice, and comfortable. We would consider staying again. But… the window sills need cleaning (especially over kitchen sink. The shower in primary bedroom needs more water pressure. And, the view of Grandfather (himself) is becoming blocked by tree growth more than website depictions.

Mountain getaway

We loved this stay. The host was very helpful and the cabin was im great shape & very clean. We had a minor plumbing issue and it was fixed by the time we got back to the cabin for the night. Cabin had everything my family needed to enjoy our little getaway. Great location and views from porch.,

Did the trick, not amazing

The cabin was did the trick for a weekend stay, but the listing made it look MUCH nicer than it actually was. Bathrooms felt grungy and the drive up was very steep and road was unpaved. Fire pit and backyard area were unusable. We were planning on doing s’mores, etc but didn’t have any desire to go back there. Place was clean-ish, but felt like they could give it more attention especially the outdoor areas. No laundry either from what I could see?? Check in process was easy and it’s a good proximity to Boone and banner elk. But nothing special. Probably wouldn’t book again.

Weekend trip

Inside of the cabin is stunning and a great layout. It was very clean when we got there and had everything we needed. The driveway is very tight so be aware if you have a large vehicle it's tight to turn around. The bed is memory foam and you have an option of a beautiful room with a queen which I wish had the king because it is a great room and a king in the very back, also a nice room but that front queen really is lovely.
