Sugar Grand is a recently renovated single-level home showcasing high ceilings and stunning hardwood floors that create a seamless flow throughout. The expansive family room features vaulted ceilings adorned with exposed wood and metal beams, lending a contemporary vibe. After a day on the slopes or hiking your favorite trail, unwind on the sectional while enjoying the warmth of a wood-burning fireplace. A wall of windows fills the room with natural light and showcases the stunning mountain vistas. The chef's kitchen boasts a gas stove, ample cabinet space, and quartz countertops to meet all your culinary needs. A large island with seating for four serves as an ideal spot for friends to gather. The partially covered back deck, accessible from the dining area and all four bedrooms, stretches the length of the home. Fire up the charcoal grill for a delicious dinner, savor your morning coffee, or relax in the hot tub while soaking in the year-round views.

Sugar Grand accommodates up to ten guests with two bedroom suites and two additional bedrooms. The spacious master bedroom features high ceilings, a king bed, and direct access to the deck. The custom private bathroom includes a large soaker tub, a level-entry shower, and double vanities. The second suite also offers a king bed, a private bathroom with a step-in shower, and access to the back deck. Both the queen bedroom and bunk room have deck access and share an additional full bathroom. The bunk room can accommodate four guests in twin bunk beds. This beautiful mountain home is equipped with Wi-Fi, YouTube TV, central heating and air conditioning, and a washer and dryer. Please note that pets are not permitted at Sugar Grand. The property features a level gravel driveway with parking for four vehicles, plus four steps leading to the covered front entrance.

Very nice home! The renovations were done well, excellent view of Grandfather Mtn. We did not use the fireplace, hot tub or grill, so I cannot comment on those. (We would have used the fireplace if it had been gas logs, but did not want to go to the trouble of buying wood and building a fire). Overall we would stay there again.

House was great. Kitchen well stocked, beds comfortable, batrooms updated and good hot water for showers/ baths. Hot tub was outstandind after ski and tubing days. Would highly recommend. Oh yeah the smoke alarm ran out of batteries at 2:00 am on the first night which resulted in a call to the emergency number. We eventually agreed to remove the batteries and unplug that unit to stop the countinual chirping. Despite the assurance that someone would be there in the morning to fix the smoke alarm, no one ever came.

The cabin was great. It had all the amenities for a nice stay. A few comments I had, the back guest room was near the security lights for the house and kept flipping on and off all night. We could not sleep in that room at all. Probably needs some black out shades or adjust the sensitivity of the distance. Also the digital log in didn’t work when we first got there, and when we left at 9:50, 10 minutes before check out, it also did not work. Maybe the electronics froze because of the weather. That was an inconvenience when we got there and left. Other than those two things, it was a great stay.

Great Property. Many positives on this one!

Loved this property. Single level made things so easy. The kitchen is huge and is very well stocked with just about everything. Beds were comfortable and the bathrooms are very nicely appointed, particularly the primary suite bath. A stupendous view of Grandfather Mountain from nearly every room. The circular drive was great and made coming and going very easy. Very near to Sugar Mountain and all of its activities. Short drives to Valle Crucis and Banner Elk as well. The only negative I would state is that they need to upgrade their outdoor deck furnishings. Not nearly enough seating for a house with space for 10 guests.

Beautiful home!!!

Really nice and very clean home, we would definitely rent again. It needs a few more kitchen utensils but guessing it is a newer rental so that will happen. One of the nicer VRBO homes we have ever rented, and we do so often. Great location for quickly getting to the ski hill as well. Excellent house!
