Nice but not as nice as I was expecting

Overall the apartment was clean and fairly large. The terrace was really nice to have. The part that I didn't like was that it was very noisy. There is a shaft in the middle of the building that really amplifies and carries noise from other places into the apartment. There were several people who were in different apartments but obviously knew each other because they were socializing into the early morning keeping us up. The area seemed a little sketchy but it was fine. We were as safe as in any other part of Barcelona. The Metro is relatively near and easy to use. They are building an elevator in the building which creates a lot of dust and noise if you don't leave early enough in the morning.
