The hotel itself is very beautiful and well kept, although it’s a little smaller in person than what the pictures portray . The room itself is a little small but there’s lots of storage space . The only issue was the location. There wasn’t lots of options for good quality restaurants walking distance. And it was quite far for tourist attractions (you had to take a lot of metros and buses just to get to the inner city ). Overall it’s a nice hotel but as a tourist just be mindful of the transportation options near , and be ready to walk long distances.

Really nice stay - not far to aquarium etc

We stayed just one night to do a couple of things in the city nearby like the cable car and the aquarium. Our room was beautiful although a couple of the walls needed re painting and the bathroom if you looked closely needs a little bit of work; perfectly clean just a bit worn out. The staff are polite and helpful and the location near bogatell metro is really handy.

We arrived late, and we're able to quickly check in. Hotel has a bar and restaurant but also has other options close by. Would stay here again and was only a 10 minute walk to the beach.

Nice hotel near the beach

The hotel was very nice. The front desk staff was very pleasant. Our room was spacious with a king bed, mini bar and balcony with a great view of the city from the 8th floor. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast buffet was decent. The spa was fun. Our room was not ready at check in time and no one attended to us at La Llum bar when we tried dining there. The rooftop bar and pool was very small and crowded and only drinks were available for purchase. The restaurant downstairs was the main dining option but lunch was expensive. The electricity went out for a couple of hours one night. There was a huge roach in our room but we were able to remove it ourselves. Communication with some of the staff was challenging. Staff would knock on the door and immediately open the door without waiting for us to answer. There were a lot of interruptions by different staff members. Overall, it was a nice stay in a very convenient location, close to public transportation, restaurants, shopping and the beach.

Staff superb throughout, friendly staff on reception and upgraded us to a wonderful room. Great feed in the bar area. Clean and extremely comfortable rooms. Pool area superb. Highly recommend and in a good quiet and safe area.

This property is in need of updating. The walls are paper thin. You can hear conversations in the next room at average speaking level. My room did not have coffee but when I asked it was brought to my room. A hot pot with instant packets. My status was not recognized. So, no gratis water. At check in I arrived at 3:15 pm. Was told my room was not ready and to wait in the lobby. I gave the person my name. After 1 1/2 hrs of waiting I inquired and found my room to have been ready. When asked why I wasn’t notified the response was we didn’t know you were waiting. At this time. I pointed to the receptionist whom I game my name and said, she did”! Clearly, a lack of communication between staff members. I would not choose this hotel. But would consider the H10 Catalonia. Wish I had!!

Excellent Hotel

Brilliant stay in Barcelona with my Dad. The spa facilities were absolutely faultless - we used them all three days. Very clean hotel, and our room was excellent with brilliant views towards the beach. The location is slightly out of Barcelona centre, but we didn't mind the walk.

Overall, I enjoyed my stay at H10 Marina Barcelona. When I initially pulled up to the hotel, I wasn't impressed about the exterior and the surrounding area. However, as soon as I entered the hotel, the interior was lovely. The room was nicely decorated and well maintained - I had no complaints with this. It was also nice to have a complimentary bottle of cava and macarons in the room on arrival. The check-in experience was inconsistent. I expected to pay city taxes, however, I was also asked to pay a "wellness fee". I booked a junior suite with single spa access, so I'm not sure what this fee was for and, due to the language barrier, I didn't question it at the time. Also, there was a well stocked mini bar in the room which Someone else in the party informed me that it was free for our room type - no one at reception explained this.

The interior of the hotel including the lobby and guest floors are beautiful, clean and tastefully designed. The pool deck on floor 8 is also nice to sit back and relax.
