Fabulous place that is a halfway house between a hostel & a hotel. Our room was spacious, comfortable & very clean. As other people have mentioned, there is a lot of noise from the street & subway, so the higher the floor the better. The location is brilliant, loads of bars & restaurants & right by a subway (hence the noise).

Wonderful stay in Barcelona!

Very enjoyable stay in Barcelona. Hostel Sans was excellent and a great location. The staff were very accommodating and friendly. It was great that we could store our bags before checking in so that we could tour the city. The only issue for some would be the noise from the transit system. Not the hotels problem but you can hear the rumble of the tracks from the Metro. You do get used to it!

This is the noisiest place I have ever stayed. Rude Guests coming home in the middle of the night talking at the top of their voices. Sleeping was near on impossible. And the train going underneath didn’t help. The whole place just echoed with noise sadly.

The room was great but they need to invest in better windows and door noise insulation since you could hear everything that was happening outside from your room.

Thé property is close to subway station so it’s pretty convenient to go everywhere. There’s a dining room in this hotel but no food service. Guests can use the water boiler and microwave in the dining room.

This property was amazing. It was very clean, the bed was comfortable the bathroom was huge with a large shower!!! The staff were very friendly, helpful and accommodating. Their English was excellent!!!!! The atmosphere in the neighbourhood was vibrant. We felt very safe walking around in the day or night. The metro is across the street and the main train station a 5 minute walk. Next stay in Barcelona will be at the Hostal Sans!!

This is the first time that I have stayed at a Hostel and I was pleasantly surprised. Hostal Sans was very convenient to the Fira Convention Center as well as a quick Metro ride to the Diagonal, Passeig de Gracia an Sagrada Familia! Comfortable room, pleasant staff and even a cafeteria area to bring your food! Very clean and well cared for property.

Great value, hidden gem

Excellent location, room was very clean and comfortable and had everything I needed for a three-night stay. Staff were incredibly friendly. Fantastic value for money. I’m sure I’ll be back next year.
