Ok but Not the greatest

Up an incredibly long steep hill. Nice marble floors, big room. Location difficult hauling luggage. We left at 5am for plane and I forgot my expensive scarf and Moroccan money in room. I emailed at 5:30 and the response hours later was that they didn't find them in the room and am I sure that I left it. I'm positive as I don't have either. They were no help.

The hotel is close to he Metro and there are some great local restaurants. The only thing was the very steep walk from the restaurants and bars to the hotel but you got to burn those calories. we were not disappointed and the staff were great.

The Aristol for a great location

Very good experience of this hotel. It is not a plush hotel, but it is friendly and very comfortable. The area is 10 minutes walk down to Sagrada Familia and perhaps 40 minutes walk to Las Ramblas. Avenue Gaudi is a lovely location of local restaurants and cafes, with a great buzz :-)

Great service, friendly staff, metro is 10 minutes walk away and 10 minute train ride to Barcelona city. Walking distance to many points of interest. Very happy, would stay there again

Pleasant clean hotel, good value.

Pleasant hotel near the Sagrada Familia (10 mins walk or so, downhill going, up hill returning) and around a 15/20 min walk to the Park Guell. I used the Metro to get down to the waterfront area and it was easy and cheap to do so. Clean hotel, decent breakfast (breads, cereals, cheese, meats pastries etc.) Free Wifi all over.

Mediocure hotel but ok for thrifty travellers

This is not a bad hotel, but as a business traveller I would not go out of my way to stay here again. I chose it due to its location close to work while there, but it is far from the center, though you can walk to Sagrada Familia and to metro nearby. Its basically a 2 star hotel. Clean enough for most, not too expensive, great for younger cheaper travellers.

Perfectly nice time in Barcelona

Stayed at this hotel for two days in December. It was a great experience. Hotel is about a five minute walk to two different Metro stations and a 15 minute walk to Sagrada Familia. The rooms were neat, the beds comfortable and the bathroom spacious. The front desk staff were very helpful and having a computer with internet in the lobby was very helpful. The only downside is that there weren't that many places to eat right around the hotel. Also this wasn't really the touristy/downtown area of Barcelona, but it was a quick metro ride away.

Title says it all. Place was clean and the metro a short walk away (past a hospital) but the neighborhood was desolate with nothing around.

Adequate for Price

Room wasn't that clean, but only 3 star. For the money, adequate. Night staff was excellent, spoke very good English and was very helpful. AM staff not as friendly. Safe a plus. Discount for on & off bus also a plus. Breakfast buffet adequate. Coverter for electricity would not fit. Rooms smaller in Europe and no washcloths.
