Much better alternatives avoid this place

Whilst the images look great. It was unfortunately a let down. We turned up late in the evening, the gentleman who checked us in was so disinterested borderline aggressive. We waited several minutes before he decided to acknowledge us. Despite checking in online as per their email request he told us we had no booking which caused us concern. We reassured we did but he reluctantly checked us in. Sure enough he put us on the first floor right next to a lift with twin beds. We had the worst three nights sleep we could imagine not just because of the noise but also how uncomfortable the rooms were. Not ones to complain we stayed quiet but we don’t accept this is acceptable behaviour or a way to treat decent customers. It’s pointless calling us guests when you have staff who are allowed to treat paying customers this way. Aside from that whilst it’s a newish hotel I’d say the room is an average 2 star like a travelodge. Cleanliness/room service wasn’t the best and location whilst next to the metro is quite far from the attractions. With hindsight I’d never go anywhere near this place. For the cost, we felt we had been overcharged considerably. Shame as we have stayed at Barcelo hotels before and they’ve been fine. Being a gold member was pointless here too. The only plus was the guy who checked us out was extremely polite and sincere. We appreciated the kind service he provided

Great stay! The pool bar was amazing to lounge by in the afternoon. LOCATION!! This was in such a great spot, neighborhood that felt safe with affordable dining options and steps to one of the metro stations & aero bus. Would highly recommend this place to any friends and family going to Barcelona.

The property was amazing, my only concern rooms are extremely tiny, I understand save space is the new option but being in a room with two twin beds together and no space to walk or place the luggage is annoying. The hotel is amazing but the space is extremely limited and not 100% functional.

I stay one week, during the week a medical item I kept on the bed side was threw away without question, and one night after being caught in very heavy rain, in which I had to take my shirt off I walked into the reception to be stopped a reception who told us we can’t walk round the hotel in that state, I politely replied our clothes are soaked and we are going straight to our room he rolled his eyes and waved us on, i understand why he stopped us but a bit of understanding would have been nice.
