The hotel’s location was quite convenient, and we appreciated being close to everything. We arrived a little early and were informed that early check-in wasn’t available, which was understandable. However, while other guests were offered a welcome champagne upon arrival, we were simply directed to wait on the rooftop by the pool. We returned right at 3 PM, but unfortunately had to wait an additional 30–60 minutes because the room was still not ready. When we finally checked in, the room was on the smaller side but charming. Unfortunately, it was uncomfortably warm, and the air conditioning did not work. The front desk kindly provided us with a fan but explained that no other rooms were available. While we tried to make the best of the situation, it was disappointing. Upon checkout, when I mentioned the issue, the receptionist insisted the temperature was “fine.” I found this response dismissive, especially since the staff member who brought the fan had already acknowledged that the air conditioner wasn’t working. Overall, the location and aesthetic of the hotel were nice, but the lack of functioning air conditioning, the handling of the situation, and the inconsistent service at check-in impacted the experience. I would rate our stay a 3 out of 5.

The mattress needs to be replaced. Sages. Television has no English stations. The pocket door to the bathroom has no door pull so if u open it too far u can’t pull it closed without breaking all your fingernails. No exhaust fan in the bathroom. It’s small but doable but when u shower it’s like a swamp. There is a window but what you look at is scary and unkept. The lobby is lively and nicely decorated. We didn’t eat breakfast there so I have no comment about that or the room it was served in. Plus - it was only 1/2 mile walk to the Sagrada and lovely shops and restaurants. Metro down the street. IMO it was a bit overpriced. Staff was wonderful and very accommodating.

Cute Hotel…Poor Room Condition

Overall, the hotel is cute but I was not happy with my room. First, I didn’t get the upgrade I was supposed to get. Secondly, the condition of my room was below average. The curtains were ripped up, the sink area was all rusted, and every five minutes, the pipes in the bathroom made a loud sound that lasted about a minute each time. Despite me mentioning the issue to the hotel staff, no one ever addressed it or fixed it. This was below the standards of a 4-star hotel.

Conveniently located. AC did not work for 2 of the 6 days of my stay. Very strong sewage smell at night. The breakfast was gross and over priced (flies everywhere and on food). Nice staff at the pool. Johanna at the front desk was exceptionally rude at check-in. Everyone else was a pleasure.

The staff is very nice, the hotel is not 4 star , it’s more like 3,5 star hotel, breakfast was ok , not much variety. Room is small. Location is good 15 minutes walk to the center.

Great hotel! it was clean and the staff was very kind and were always available at be front desk. The check in process was very easy. it’s located in a safe neighborhood and it is walking distance (15-20 mins) to many places including the passage de gràcia stores, casa batillo and la sagrada familia.
