The house was nice, clean, and the downstairs bedroom bed….SO COMFORTABLE! The house is located away from the square area right across the dinner train railroad tracks. While yes you technically can walk to town it’s not really that close in proximity to all the attractions like shops, restaurants, etc…The only thing we didn’t like about it was the fact that there’s the awesome 2nd living area and two bedrooms upstairs but not a single TV. To some it may not be a big deal, but when traveling with teenage boys…..it is! Lol! The TV in living room is a smart TV, but the one in the bedroom downstairs is not and I couldn’t find a single channel on that TV so it was of no use to us. If you’re not going to

We definitely loved the Southern comfort home, it was so much more than expected. Located on a quaint street with so much charm. We give it a 5 out of 5 for location. The interior of the house was comfortable and the kitchen had everything you could want including a black stone on the back patio, also 5 out of 5, the backyard could’ve used a little TLC but nonetheless we loved our stay. My two daughters flew into Louisville and my sister-in-law and I met them and drove to Bardstown for a long weekend. Sweet SouthernComfort was a great place for us to stay - plenty of space and outside seating, a well-stocked kitchen and easy to walk to the downtown area of Bardstown for shopping and restaurants. Bardstown is ideally situated for tasting tours and about an hour away from Pleasant Hill Shaker village. I would recommend staying here!

This house is as advertised and very clean. It had everything we needed for a bourbon trail weekend. Check in and out were seemless and the host provided her cell number in case we had any issues but there was no need to contact her. Our group hopes to book this house again when we're in Bardstown for a bourbon weekend.

Great homebase for family vacation to Bardstown

This house is super-cute, with plenty of space for groups to socialize both inside and outside. We loved the new grill and thought the beds were comfy. Being able to walk to a playground and nature trails was an unexpected bonus.

Bourbon Trail Getaway

Long weekend with friends. Our stay in Bardstown was amazing. We were centrally located for all the fun we had planned. Visiting Churchill Downs, Willett Distillery, Buffalo Trace, Mammoth Cave and Lost River Cave. SWEET SOUTHERN COMFORT was perfect. Lovely home and Had all the amenities we needed. Thank You!!

Bourbon and golf

We picked this property because of its location to downtown. It was less than two miles away and close to everything we needed and wanted to do. The property was awesome and had more than enough room for everyone in our party. The house was very clean and tidy upon arrival.
