Bari has many other markets including the Monday morning flea market in Via Napoli (20-minute drive) where you can find handicrafts, textiles and interesting craft items. For daily basics, there are supermarkets and bakeries close by.
Guests will want to explore some of the smaller towns around Puglia such as Alberobello (50 minutes), famous for its Trulli; Polignano a Mare (35 minutes) which offers excellent snorkeling and Monopoli (40 minutes,) with its charming winding whitewashed streets and ancient harbour
