The converted cattle byre with level access and wide doorways, provides a picturesque countryside retreat. Durham city, 25 miles, has a 12th century cathedral, boutiques in cobbled streets, the Victorian market, restaurants and galleries. Visit the Lake District, Yorkshire Dales and Northumberland. A car would be preferable as shops and local ammenities are not within walking distance. Historic Barnard Castle on the River Tees is 6 miles. Shops 2 miles, pubs 1 mile.



Initial fuel for the woodburner included, thereafter available locally at cost. Additional double bed settee. Maximum sleeps 2 adults and 2 children. One dog only at £25.00 and this to be paid to the owner via BACS transfer 10 days prior to arrival, or entry will be refused.
