New property so everything was very clean and comfortable. Room is spacious and clean Not sure if we were on a smoking floor (11th) but upon opening the door for the first time, the room smelled of smoke. We had city view and at night, the noise from the roundabout could be heard. Room could be better soundproofed.

Grand Mercure Batam – Comfort, Class & Convenience Our stay at Grand Mercure Batam was an absolute win. From the moment we arrived, the service felt premium yet welcoming. The rooms were spacious, modern, and super comfortable, with city views that made mornings feel extra special. The location is a big highlight — close to shopping, food spots, and just a short ride to Batam’s main attractions. Perfect whether you’re here to relax or explore. Breakfast was excellent, with a wide spread of local and international options, and the hotel facilities like the pool and gym were clean, well-maintained, and relaxing after a day out. What really stood out was the staff — friendly, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile. You genuinely feel looked after.
