This is NOT a hotel. This is a narrow row-house with nine tiny rooms for rent, and no one to let you in. The absentee manager will email you a door code a couple of hours before the check-in time, and if you have any difficulty accessing your email, you'll be sleeping in your car. Speaking of cars, absentee manager, when reached by phone, incorrectly advised us that the only nearby car park was about to close for a festival (it was not), causing us some panic. If you want to run a hotel, you must commit to being present when guests arrive - or alternatively, being honest about this in your self-description. Our room, by the way, was just big enough to fit one double bed, and the bathroom was microscopic. No elevator and no a/c.

Soft and Gentle and Wise and Kind

My wife and I visited for a show in town, and the hotel was in a great location for accessing the town centre. The decoration was unique and really pleasant, the bathroom was lovely, and the bed was very comfy. We also really enjoyed having keypads to access both the building and room so we didn’t have to worry about keys/cards.

Great stay

Once you connect with owners and send copy of identification, it's easy in and out of the place. It's within easy walking distance to the city center, great wifi, comfy beds and easy communication with Alex through WhatsApp. Main busses run right out front! Thank you!

"An excellent place to stay! Conveniently located near the shopping area, the Roman Baths, Thermae Bath Spa, and the Crescent. The house is beautifully decorated, reflecting the host’s great taste in art. It’s a cozy and welcoming space. The host is very responsive, and if the room is available and cleaned, early check-in is possible. Highly recommended!"
