The beach club was phenomenal. Fabian’s service was exceptional! Him and Luis at Tacorini provided the best service we received during our entire stay. We felt welcomed instantly and felt like VIP guests. Their service was so incredible we returned the next day to be serviced by them again. They offered great recommendations from the menu and were charismatic and empathetic to our needs seeing that we were traveling with an infant. The food at these two locations were incredible! Better than the other restaurants in my opinion. Room service and the buffet had good flavors but everything was cold. Service during breakfast was slow and it took a while to be seated and receive condiments and coffee. The pools were decent and we appreciated the variety in seating. My biggest gripe aside from the cold food is the smoking. Nothing will ruin a meal quicker than smelling the rancid smell of cigarettes. Other parents were at the resort at the same time as us with children of similar ages (below 1 year old) and they were also upset about the smoking. To me that ruined the experience above all else. I don’t want my baby’s developing lungs to be exposed to that when we are embracing nature. Juan at reception was charismatic and welcoming. We needed ice to keep baby’s milk cold because the mini fridge was not cold enough and even lost 12 oz of expressed milk because we didn’t receive ice when requested a few nights. Absolutely heartbreaking. All in all, great for those looking to relax.
