We stayed two nights in the spa terrace sweet. It was very nice and quiet. There is no AC but windows opened and we had a breeze. The bathroom and toilet were separate which was nice and we had a rain shower.

It is a historical facility. Old, but maintained well. I liked everything about it other than I didn't see air conditioning. It wasn't needed while I was there. I don't know the Bayeux weather but it may be needed in the July/August timeframe.

The room was clean location was great one block from Main Street so less noise. Staff was friendly and responsive. One star off for cost and quality of breakfast. Also if you drive cost of parking.

Staff was friendly. Only issue we had is they charged us for 2 days of breakfast and we asked that the second day be removed. They still charged us for the second day and the staff said it would be refunded later. I’m not going to hold my breath it’s as if they didn’t believe us.

Bad Experience

We did not have a good experience during our stay. There was no heat in our room with temperature in the 50s. Room seas too small and does not compare to others at the same rate. We purchased breakfast and it was very bad food not well prepared with dirty tables not cleaned. Not a good experience at all.

Great location to visit Normandy. Lots of shopping and restaurants nearby. Walkable. Near the location the tours for the area departed from. Good breakfast. 15 minute walk from the train station.

Wonderful with a couple disappointments.

Wonderful staff that was very friendly and helpful. We booked 2 superior rooms. One was beautiful and clean. The other had hair in the drain and the garbage had not been dumped and a stain on the carpet. The breakfast was food, excellent croissants. Pool was heated but the hot tub wasn’t hot enough to sit in the cold weather. I believe they said 100. It needed to be at least 105. I do recommend this hotel. The massage therapist isn’t always on site so I don’t know of you have to book that in advance. I wish we had known that.

Receptionist Claire was AMAZING. She helped this old American everyday figure out how to get where I wanted to go. She never made me feel “travel incompetent” which I am. She made my stay so enjoyable, stress free and relaxed. Plus I did more than I wanted to. Thank you so much Claire!!!
