Lovely stay, everything as advertised. What a gem Bayeux is! It was spared bombardment in WW2 so it has all the charm of a small town in Normandy as it was and has been. We arrived by train from Paris and rented a car from Bessin Location, an honest family run business, for a day to tour the D-Day beaches but there was enough to see and do in Bayeux to keep us occupied for a week. We had lots of fun retracing the steps around town of General De Gaul. Can’t wait to come back and see the chess set Mr Macron got for the tapestry.

Place was amazing. Would highly recommend it. On top of that Guy supplies some food (pasta) that saved the day. Would give it 6 stars but you only csn do five. :-)

Location, location, location

Excellent apartment in the centre of Bayeux a short walk to all attractions. I was able to keep my motorcycle on the premises free of charge.

Quiet stay in Bayeux

Enjoyed the week at this property. It was just minutes walk from historical sites and places. On the street free parking is available a short walk from the apartment altho the parking can be a challenge in that there are few spots and can be quite tight to get into. There is a flight of stairs from the entrance to the apartment that could be difficult for some.. The cooking equipment is nice, nice refrig and washer for clothes w a clothes rack for drying. The proprietor was lovely despite some language barrier, but Google translate worked fine. We had a very enjoyable stay!

Le matelas du lit serait dû pour être remplacé ( on pouvais sentir le bois du lit par endroit), mais à part cela tout était très bien !
