LOCAL SKATING Koocanusa Village has an interior lake called Crystal Lake which in the winter months can be skated on - 5 min walk to the lake or drive 2 min GUEST ACCESS During the summer months (June 20th opening day, July, August, and September), the Marina Store is open, offering basic amenities, snacks, food, ice cream, boat fuel, and a fully stocked selection of beer, wine, and spirits. 🏖️ Resident-Only Beaches within 10 min walk. Koocanusa Village offers several private beaches with access to both Koocanusa Lake and Crystal Lake. Crystal Lake is a calm, interior lake perfect for non-motorized water activities. 🚤 Private Marina – A marina is available for daily or weekly use with advanced reservations. You can also launch your boat from our private boat launch into Lake Koocanusa. They have some amazing Koocanusa attire as well. LOCAL AREA ⭐ Koocanusa Village is a 30-40 minute drive to Fernie, a 60-minute drive to Cranbrook, and a 75-minute drive to Kimberley. Ski world class hills like Fernie and Kimberly in a short drive. The town of Jaffray is just 20 minutes away and features a great executive-style golf course that’s perfect for families or adults, along with a wonderful restaurant.
