Welcome to Cooper Mountain Cabin, a peaceful forest retreat set on 15 private acres in Beaverton, Oregon. This spacious 5-bedroom, 3-bath cabin comfortably hosts up to 12 guests and blends modern comfort with the tranquility of nature. It’s perfect for family gatherings, multi-generation trips, or friends seeking a quiet escape near Portland.

Step inside to discover a bright, open living area surrounded by floor-to-ceiling windows. Watch the rain drift through the trees while relaxing by the electric fireplace, or settle in for a movie night on the 65” Roku TV with surround sound. The fully stocked kitchen has everything you need for shared meals—from stainless appliances and granite countertops to a full coffee and tea bar.

The primary suite feels like a treehouse with its private balcony and king bed. Two additional bedrooms on the main floor, plus a lower level with more sleeping space and a lounge with foosball and games, make this cabin ideal for large groups who want to spread out while staying connected.

Outdoor Space:
While the forest setting feels worlds away, you’ll enjoy modern conveniences throughout. Step onto the deck to breathe in the pine-scented air, grill dinner on the propane BBQ, or simply unwind as the forest changes color. During dry spells, guests can enjoy the propane fire pit and yard games.

The cabin offers a large parking pad for 6+ vehicles, motion-lit entry, and keyless check-in.

Location:
Hidden in a private ravine on Cooper Mountain, the cabin feels secluded but remains close to everything you need:

5 minutes to Cooper Mountain Nature Park (trails and playground)

15 minutes to Nike and Intel campuses

25 minutes to Downtown Portland

36 minutes to Portland International Airport (PDX)

Near grocery stores, restaurants, coffee shops, and Willamette Valley wineries

Whether you’re heading to the Oregon Coast, exploring Portland, or skiing at Mt. Hood, Cooper Mountain Cabin is a comfortable, convenient home base for your Pacific Northwest adventures.

What to Expect:
Guests love the peaceful setting and forest views from every room. The cabin is tucked into nature, so it’s not uncommon to spot deer, squirrels, Stellar’s jays, and other local wildlife nearby. Professional pest control keeps the home well maintained, but this is true Oregon forest living—you may occasionally see an ant or box elder bug.

Because the cabin is on a private gravel road, a car is strongly recommended. Uber and Lyft can locate the address with our detailed directions, and we’re happy to recommend a trusted local shuttle service that knows the property well.

Seasonal Highlights-

Fall and Winter:
Cool misty mornings, colorful leaves through November, and cozy indoor comfort with the electric fireplace and 360° forest views. Complimentary popcorn bar provided for movie nights.

Spring:
Wildflowers bloom and forest wildlife becomes active again—watch for baby deer and songbirds outside your window.

Summer:
Warm days for grilling on the deck or exploring nearby wineries and nature trails.

Family get away!!

When the property description indicates you are tucked away in the forest, make no mistake that’s the case. Drive thru a lovely community, find the “private driveway” sign, follow the road into a proverbial rain forest, including deer about. Round the bend and you are home at your personal treehouse. The “cabin” is nicely appointed, clean and private. Our family of nine loved the space. Kitchen, basement spaces recently updated. Master, second bedrooms updates in the future? Echo was an amazing host, the cabin private, quiet and worlds away (though not really 😌). Magical stay for a family looking to get away, though not too far. Echo, thank you.. Kathy and family

Hidden Gem

Loved what Echo has done with the house. Older houses have so much personality and Echo has really made something out of that. Highly recommended, specially when you're with your friends and family

Hidden and Quiet in the middle of it all

This is a hidden gem in the middle of Beaverton, quiet and private. The cabin is very spacious, comfortable and clean. Extremely impressed with privacy in such a large residential area. I highly recommend this cabin and the hosts. The host were second to none. Don't pass this place up. Will definitely rebook
