Compare Ski Hotels in Beech Mountain

We had a great time at the Great Escape Lodge for our annual men's retreat. Communication with John was excellent. Highly recommend the place for large groups, as it has plenty of space.

Very tired, shabby and in need of upgrade ... which they are working on. I read on reviews 'nice views', which i couldn't see through the dirty windows. 'Restaurant on premises' was closed due to renos so we had to go down the windy mountain road into town for dinner and breakfast (The Town Tavern in Banner Elk was excellent). Carpet desperately needs changing. What they could clean they did ... clean comfy bed (but a Murphy bed? how do you clean behind that? You don't! ). New shower curtain ... thank you. Shower head is awf. Linens clean. My suggestion, wait until renos are done and then give it a try ... there's potential

The host was amazing. He was quick to respond wherever I messaged and was on top of any issues. Fireplace wouldn’t light and he sent someone out right away to fix. The deer were so amazing to feed and watch. Would definitely stay again. Only negative was internet wouldn’t connect so we were unable to watch any TV.

Kitchen was fully equipped for cooking, plenty of activities for the kids to do in the game room and pool area and loved the living room with the fireplace setting. It was a great experience

This condo was great! Being on the first floor made access easy. The inside was homey, updated and clean. Would definitely stay again!

Place was nice. Owner is super helpful! Great views.
