The location is excellent, but the hotel appears to be somewhat in disrepair, likely due to a decline in business. I particularly didn't enjoy the breakfast experience; the dining area was uncomfortably hot, and there were flies, which detracted from the atmosphere. Although the food was tasty, it often ran out quickly. Additionally, there seemed to be a shortage of staff, resulting in delays in cleaning tables and the accumulation of dirty plates in the back, which may have contributed to the fly problem.

My stay at the Ramada was a disaster, it started with the staff going home without completing my check in to my room, was made to wait almost 2 hrs to get a room and key, my key didn’t work every time I left my room I had to get my key reset to get in my room, my room was dirty with no towels or wash clothes, my tv didn’t work,,the food was old cold, and limited, I didn’t feel safe due to darkness and opened doors to dark rooms, the pool was dirty, slippery and very unkept, and the bar was barely opened and when it was they didn’t have any thing to make drinks or they didn’t have a bartender, this hotel looked like the pictures and need I say it was a lot of mold and debris right outside of my room on the roof… I am very disappointed and I would never recommend anyone to stay here

Nothing, there was a smell and it was not clean and was not featuring anything, I was disappointed and would not recommend it to anyone, breakfast was cold and minimal, staff was not available, one day no bartender and I would like some compensation because it was a surprise for my husband birthday.

The place looked deplorable and smelled. There was construction undergoing a few feet away from the room. Elevator looked and smelled terrible. The room had a terrible odor. The mayress were dirty. The closet was dirty and deplorable. We did not stay the night. We cancelled right away.

The breakfast provided a generous selection, and the numerous lunch options within walking distance, along with a snack bar open throughout the day, offered a variety of choices to please all appetites. The room was spacious, comfortably fitting four adults. Furthermore, the spa services, including pedicures and massages, were both enjoyable and reasonably priced. The staff was exceptional and highly accommodating, enhancing the overall experience!

booked this hotel for my group(4) for last 2 days in Belize. We ended up extending our stay in San Pedro an xtra day. I called 2 days before to let them know, they couldn't refund the first night which was fine we didn't mind, as long as we would be able to check-in a day late which they allowed us. Upon arrival the young lady at the front desk was super sweet & check-in was fast. The pool closing @6pm was our first let down. We headed up to our 2 queen bed room & the let downs continued. When we walked in the room was so humid, two employees walked in behind us,1 was mopping up the leak from the mini fridge& the other walked in to the restroom(not sure what she was doing) they were kind however considering we were supposed to check in the day before & they told us the room would be ready anytime it was a bit off-putting.The toilet paper in the restroom was very thin, the water pressure was either too strong or too light. It seemed so dirty. My group and I are not very picky but the motel 6 is a 10 compared to this. The AC never got the room cool, the blankets were scratchy, we check the mattresses for bed bugs, there weren't any visible however we were all scratching within the first 30 minutes. The TV was staticky, and even the furniture was dirty, they had streaks that could be removed with a warm towel (we tried) and it just looked very dirty and icky. We left w/in the 1st hour. Couldn't stay!

Arrived to the property room was not cleaned properly and one bed was not fully made but the sheets were clean.I did use my Lysol wipes there was no towels or wash clothes in the room once called the desk towels and wash clothes were brought but refused to give an extra wash cloth. Staff working the front desk was very nice and helpful. The room did not look like the picture at all.

I would not recommend staying here. The hotel is dirty. We had leaks in everyone rooms from the rain. There’s a smell from all the leaks. The tub was clogged so you ended up standing in your own dirty water. A local told me that is used to be a nice hotel but it went down hill under the new ownership.

I really felt this location would be a great place to stay on the water as we did business in Belize City. I was really shocked at the disrepair that this hotel is in. -There are whole wings that are shut off and disgusting. -The free breakfast was horrible despite the staff trying to force a smile while servicing the guests. -The power went off twice (once for servicing?) -The pool was u usable for several days and the area around it is disgusting. -The "grounds" are so dirty and in disrepair there were toilets and bathroom things on the beach side of the property which throughly grossed us out to walk on the path along the water side. -There was a huge cockroach in my bathroom. -The bedspread didn't even cover the whole bed. -The AC was so loud and was not cooling the room very well at all. -The phone never worked -The WIFI was so bad we struggled to do work. -The gym is very very poorly maintained with very substandard equipment. The staff at the front desk was very nice and certainly tried so hard to make it easier and ask questions. The housekeeping staff was also very nice. I feel every other staff member was just miserable. We tried to not make their life worse. Honestly, this is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in and will be staying at another when we return in August.

The property was clean on the inside. Not so for the pool area. Because of that, i did not utilize the pool. I would recommend a more diverse breakfast selection on a regular basis. The staff was friendly & professional.

The property is in dire need of a major renovation, showing the wear and tear of many years of use. The shower was plagued with hard water buildup that made it less than inviting, and the AC unit had a tendency to stop working unexpectedly, as if it were signaling its retirement after years of service. However, amidst these issues, the staff truly shone with their exceptional hospitality. In particular, Violet stood out; her warm greetings and genuine smile made our stay much more enjoyable and welcoming.

I stayed there several years ago and it was nice but now it is run down and poorly maintained. Pool was not open, bathroom fixtures loose. STAFF was very good except the concierge was terrible.
