Book Belmont hotels

The room was clean comfortable and had a lovely seaside view. The grounds were very well kept with lots of trees and plants -giving a nice garden ambience. The staff was really friendly and helpful

I enjoyed the property quite a bit, it is located midway on the Belmont, and is close to restaurants. The property it self is very beautiful with all of its original woodwork well maintained. The rooms have everything you need with a kitchen great for breakfast and lunch. The balcony’s are large and provide a nice semi private place to relax outdoors. If you need to watch TV, bring your laptop, as the rooms don’t have them. It’s located approximately a10 minute walk from the ferry. Only one small rough area about midway, just before the walkway starts, so it’s walkable with a wheeled carry on, if you have more luggage, I recommend a cab, not more than $30 EC/$12USD approx. Bequia is a water enthusiasts dream, for landlubbers bring a good book and relax.

The hotel is beside the beach so it gives you direct access to the beach. The hotel itself it’s a little outdated, I had a hard time charging my phone inside the hotel. Staff were nice and polite. The hotel was clean.

Overall, this is a beautiful resort with some highs and a few frustrating downsides. I’d rate it an 8/10. The property itself is stunning, and the beach is absolutely beautiful. The food was honestly a standout—10/10 across the board. The complimentary water sports during the day were also a great perk, and there was rarely much of a wait for those. That said, the room could have been cleaner, and the mini fridge isn’t restocked unless you specifically ask, which felt like something that should be automatic. Service overall was mixed—some staff were excellent, but others weren’t very friendly and didn’t seem too welcoming. One big thing: I would not recommend getting a butler. It really didn’t add much value and was actually a bit inconvenient at times. The only real benefit was helping secure beach or pool chairs, which are otherwise very hard to get. If you skip the butler, I’d suggest renting a cabana instead—the service there was better anyway. The boat transfer to the hotel was nice and scenic, but not necessarily faster than taking a cab, especially since there was still a wait. Be prepared for “island time”—service can be slow, whether it’s waiting for food at restaurants or getting assistance from staff. Also, the crowd tends to be older (50s–60s), and things quiet down pretty early, so don’t expect much nightlife after 11pm. The weather was a mix of sun and quick rain showers, but it didn’t take away from the experience since it usually cleared up fast.
